We went here because we (two Texas natives) were jonesing for Tex-Mex. We knew the food would be mediocre relative to the best of what Austin and Houston have to offer - and it was, and we were fine with that. (If we wanted great Mexican, period, there are obviously about a billion options nearby.) But the service experience marred things badly. - We showed up to a near-empty restaurant and shouldnt have had to wait for a table, but there was nobody at the host stand for a long while after our arrival. - Refills to our drinks were very, very slow in coming. - We got iced tea without sweetener. We asked for sweetener and didnt get it for a long time (our waitress didnt bring it, we had to flag someone else down.) - We ordered chili con queso as an appetizer, but it came out well after our entrees. - Our fajitas were badly undercooked. We sent them back for recooking and were told itd just take a minute - it took something more like ten. - We ordered the fajitas with refried beans but got black beans. - After we finished the meal and got the check, it took a total of ten minutes (at this point we were actually timing it) between the time we put down our credit card and the waitstaff was able to complete the process of noticing, taking the card away, running it, and bringing it back for our signature. Of course, no one of these things standing alone is particularly noteworthy; had the service involved just one or two small fumbles, thatd be a normal experience and wed be eager to go back from time to time. But the whole meal was just a comedy of bad-service errors. Our waitress said at the beginning of our meal that she was working with a partner. There was no sign of the partner at all, and the waitress was really frazzled, working something like six or seven tables at once with very little help. The staff apparently works on a team service concept, which could work, but in this case the staff was failing badly to work together as a team and pick up each others slack.

Went for lunch today afternoon with my teammates and they forgot my order completely. I reminded the person who was serving to my teammates that my dish did not arrive and he went back telling that he will be getting it for me. I waited another 15 minutes and finally got up and walked to the lady who seem to be the overall in-charge of the place. She took like additional 10-15 minutes to get my dish which means that they had totally forgotten to even prepare my dish. I can understand this will happen once in a while. However, it happened even after reminding the waiter. My teammates were done with their lunch and they had to just wait for me to finish my lunch. I am not going to this place again and i dont recommend this place to anyone.

to all of you rude people who insist on being seated right away: there is a reason you are asked to wait to be seated. If you would stop and think about someone else besides yourself for one second you would realize this fact. When you see a server running around serving 6-7 tables, that is your clue. They are under-staffed. It happens because you wanted 4-star service for 1-star prices. YOU made that happen, then you blame the hostess, or worse, the server who is making 2.19 per hour, and will pay taxes on your meal order weather you decide in royal manner weather she/he "deserves" to be paid today or not (tip). It is called empathy. look it up, Google is your friend.

Rude, I said for two, they said wait, I said what about that table she gave me a look and said we need our server to catch up. wow, sooooo unprofessional. sorry for asking... But before that the guy that first ask us the same question wall away after grabbing some menu, I thought he was going to sit us but just walk away with no care. so much for impressing my date. We sat at that same table, she keeps looking at us while we eat he does the same, whats up with this place that they would have the audacity to instigate. just like Applebees dont order Stella beer, taste watery. yes I tip.

And its great! Dont look for fancy anything by chef so-&-so. It wont fit into your diet. Its not something you need to dress up for or expect to see in some magazine. It isnt some authentic cuisine from some obscure part of Mexico. ITS TEX-MEX! And a wonderful example at that since there are about 3 options in this entire state. If youre from Texas or have ever had the opportunity to come to understand what TexMex is and should be, then youll understand why we eat here. If not, Im sorry for your loss.

It should be noted that this may have been something particular with the night I was there, but... Service was exceptionally slow. We were just a party of 3 and our order wasnt at all complicated. Refills took exceptionally long, and our food took about an hour to get out to us even though the restaurant was relatively empty. Thankfully they kept up on our chips and salsa. Our server was extremely nice, though, and the food was pretty good. The wait was just excruciating considering the circumstances.

There are few issues here, you need to wait a lot to get your table then wait again for the order. Beware you may receive someones order! Then after taken your order, wait for another long time. Then wait again for the bill payment. Oh my God?! I was so pissed off by seeing their staffs pathetic service twice. Better go early but still you may see the under staff problem. Come to the food, its good. Tried bowls like chicken, lamb, shrimp. Some items may be little costly.

Over salted everything. I was amazed at amount of salt that was put into each and every single peace of my Chicken Fajita, rice, beans, chicken and tortillas. I had to drink 2 glasses of water just to wash it down and I am still having salty taste in my mouth. The worst I ever had, this isnt Mexican food, sorry. Maybe if it wasnt for the salt it would have been a 3-4 star (I dont know if the cook of the night liked the salt too much, I guess it happens)

Came here for some early dinner (or late lunch) Had house salad, fajitas, chicken breast with salsa verde. Brownie and ice cream for dessert. The food is averagely priced and it tastes good. I really enjoyed the salad and their jalapeno dressing. The service was good - covered my every need and even reminded me to omit the salt on my margarita :D. Overall this place is good food for a good price ... Ill be back sometime.

I love coming here for work lunch because its a large restaurant and i know well get a table pretty quick. The food & price are both very good and competitive for whats available in the area. The service has always been good & fast, somewhat organized like a Chevys franchise, rather than a family run restaurant. Its ok. Totally fill-up on the chips n salsa before the meal arrives LoL Full bar with food and TVs, Sports Bar!!

This was my first time eating at this resaurant and the food was not good. A quarter into my meal I started to feel sick from what I was eating and immediately stopped eating. I would never eat here again and would not reccomend this place to anyone. I wish I had taken the time to read these reviews before eating here - I could have spared my health and saved time and money.
