I never knew what I was missing. All my life I have loved fried chicken and waffles but never thought to combine the two, The one time I finally tried a fried chicken waffle sandwich, I was so disappointed that I gave it away and didnt try another one for years. Well, that day was today. WOW!!! My taste buds are still singing praises :) First off, the fried chicken here is REALLY good. Juicy, well seasoned, and extra crispy. This chicken is already good enough to eat as a boneless tender strip. Now sandwich all of that between two fluffy Belgian styled waffles which are already infused with maple syrup. Every bite is AMAZING! The perfect balance of sweet and savory. I feel like Im eating both my meal and dessert at once :) I ordered the 2Legit (original chicken on waffle) and my friend got the Spicy and I Know It (spicy chicken with jalapenos between waffles. Im really glad I gave this truck a chance, Ill definitely be back for more.

So disappointed :. First, the good stuff: - Didnt have to wait long for the food. - Chicken was crispy and well-coated with breading. - Waffles were tasty and sweet But, dang, the bad: - Mac and cheese was the most flavorless and dry m&c I can remember tasting in years. It was just mushy pasta with... maybe a hint of cheese? - Chicken, too, was pretty darn flavorless. Zero kick, not even a hint of pepper or any other flavor other than, well, chicken and breading. - Not real maple syrup, just the gross corn syrup stuff. - Tip jar. No, just no. Unless youre making below minimum wage AND youre waiting on my table, its just plain greedy to ask for tips. Charge 50 cents more per item if you have to, but ixnay on the tip jar and tip-request on Square.

Tried the Stack and was not disappointed! The waffles were fresh and fluffy, the chicken crispy and tender, bacon savory, and fried egg just a bit creamy. I drizzled bite after bite with syrup and with no regrets. The sweet/savory bites were just phenomenal! My only disappointment with the meal was with the sweet potato chips which were very soggy...like they had been made days ago! Its portion was pretty much a garnish too. Couldnt have been more than 10 chips in total.

Excellent Friday lunch for the office. I got the soultry poultry and it came with mac n cheese and collard greens. I typically dont like collard greens but these were sooooo good...the bacon didnt hurt! Ordered for the whole office (about 10) and all of the food was ready in about 10 minutes. Very good fried chicken, not too greasy, very moist chicken, and with a peppery kick! The dessert waffles smelled incredible. Office declared favorite were the churro waffles!
