Service, my boyfriend knew the daughter of the owner so she serviced us. She was nice and friendly and she asked if we needed any recommendations since we havent eaten there before. Atmosphere, very chill and gives off the vibe of a museum because of the Asian art. Food, I had the sesame chicken, it was well prepared. The sweet potatoes gave it a good kick. I really liked the sweet potatoes, haha, a bit more than I liked the chicken surprisingly. I also had a bit of my boyfriends tower of Mongolian beef. I liked the noodles and the beef, but the sauce didnt appeal to me much. It was pretty overwhelming. My friend is Mongolian and she said that in Mongolia, they hardly put any sauces on their meats, she said it distracted from the true flavor of the meat. What made Mongolian cooking so good was the time they put into the process of cooking. So whenever I have Mongolian beef, I think of what she said. I actually ate the sesame chicken with the fried noodles because it was a good combination!

I would give 4.5 stars for the food, but the service was confusing and I personally dont like it. My friend and I went there for lunch. While we were reading the menu, Mr Fang came and said the items on it are too american. He said "Ill take care of you", took away our menu, and walked away immediately. We thought great, he would bring us a chineses style menu. It turned out that he just placed the order for us without even asking whether we wanted the specials! It might be his good intension to give us a surprise, but of course we wanted to know what we "ordered" and what the prices are. How if we have food allergy or are vegetarians? Maybe we were supposed to understand that "Ill take care of you" didnt mean he would bring a chinese menu, but a little bit more explanation would allow us to make choices and have better dinning experience. I looked at other reviews and some like surprise dishes. Give this restaurant a try if thats your style.

We have tried this restaurant several times now over the past 5 years. The first two times it was very good. However, service was never a strong point at Fang. The last three times it has gone downhill more each time. The latest trip on Christmas day was the worst. There was a long wait to be seated, to be expected on Christmas Day. Once seated, it was half a hour before the waitress took our order. The first dish was delivered 1/2 later. It was cold. The second dish came a short time after we finished the first. The soup dumplings, our appetizer, came last. The was no chopsticks or silverware when our food arrived. Fortunately, our waitress got some quickly. It was wet and there was sticky stuff on the non-business end of two of the pairs of chopsticks. WTF? Worst part, the food was less than mediocre--Ive had better at the food court in our local mall. Dont waste your money here. Never again will we eat at Fang.

We ordered Fang from the Marriott with DineIn. First, let me say that it is super awesome that they participate. It was great to have dinner delivered after a long day of flying. We got the beef bun appetizer. This was slightly crispy strips of beef with sauce and lettuce on steamed buns. It wasnt what we expected, but it was the best tasting thing we got. We got the pork spareribs, and they were extremely over-cooked, dry, and had an odd texture. We never finished it. We also had the sauteed chicken bites, which were almost entirely flavorless. They had good breading, though, and the chicken was of a good quality. The brown rice was just brown rice like you would expect from a cheap chain. No flavoring. All in all, Im grateful they offer this service, even with every price increased from menu price, a vastly reduced menu, and a $7 delivery fee, but ultimately Id go someplace else.

Disclaimer: I arrived late, like 9:45pm. They were normally closed but accepted me because I was alone. Both the starter and the main dish were served within minutes, the latter even arrived as I wasnt even halfway through the starter. I think the kitchen just wanted to clean up and close. The thing is the starter was very salty -- and I usually like pretty salty -- to a point were I forced myself to it it. And the main dish was even worse!! So salty I couldnt go further after 2 bites. So I sent the plate back and they allowed me to order something else. I think the waiter told the problem to the kitchen staff, so my second dish was actually not enough salty :-). Anyway Im glad they accepted me late but that doesnt deserve to scramble the food like this. Otherwise, staff not suoer smiling, food average.

I love Chinese food its probably in the top 3 things I will eat if given the chance. Fangs is a nice small resturant with friendly staff and fast service. The menu is small which helps with the fast service. The plate servings are BIG for 2 people. More like a family style serving. My wife and I ordered a few things to give it a fair shot. (See photos) The food came out hot and correct, and the old man that took our order made us something that wasnt on the menu. Ive just had better food. I was expecting more due to its location. My biggest let down was the egg rolls that arent traditional. Would I recommend Fangs to anyone in the area yes. Due to alot of things they are doig right. But if asked is the food great, I would have to answer, no its good.

The food was fine but we did not have the good experience reported in other reviews with letting them order for us. Our party had planned to order from the menu, but the staff convinced us to let them make the selections and surprise us. If we had ordered from the menu, the price per person for an appetizer and entree would have been around $15, so the real surprise was when we received the bill and found we had been charged $25 per person for an equivalent meal. We paid a large premium and ended up with food selections that were less desirable than what we would have selected for ourselves. If you go, I recommend that you either order from the menu or establish a price per person before you put yourselves in the hands of the staff.

I came here for dinner on a Friday night and I was surprised at how quickly we were seated considering we showed up around 730 pm. The decor is nice and the seating is a little snug. I was a little concerned with elbowing the person next to me, but thankfully that didnt happen. We ordered a bottle of sake and had the waiter order for us (he asked if we had any food allergies before he made his decisions). He did a really good job at picking dishes. I enjoyed everything we had. The short ribs were fantastic! Overall the meal was delicious, but I think I would have picked a few dishes with more vegetables. Id like to come back here and try more of their menu especially since I wasnt 100% sure on what exactly we had since we didnt order.
