Within the best science museum in the word, with a spectacular bay view... Sadly the food at seaglass is NOT kid friendly. The pizza was too exotic, the quesadilla was "weird", and the drinks are all unfamiliar. Their organic diet coke equivalent just tastes bad. My kids looked forward to the "organic" food at the old building, but dont want to eat at the new one. Ive tried three times to find them something they would eat. They have no trouble with the equally "organic", but simpler food at the Academy of Science, but there are no kid friendly "guaranteed hits" at the Exploratorium. Recommendation: Find a hot dog that is hip enough for you to be willing to sell, and ordinary enough to please a kid. Make a plain cheese pizza, that doesnt require a special order to make (and yet still comes with "green stuff"). I liked the food, but my kids dont.

A bit on the pricey side (which is expected in SF), but Ive watched lots of families with small children struggling to find "child approved" food selections. Yes, they have mac & cheese....but not a kid version. Same for the salads and tacos. Even the juice beverage options have kids and parents shaking their heads. If you are an adult, the menu is okay. However, how ofteh do they change the options? They seem to remain exactly the same for multiple days in a row. It is very nice that they have a bar. But the kid choices need some attention. I know the point of visiting here isnt to eat, but on a long day, a few family and kid friendlier options would be appreciated!

Food: 3 Decor: 3 Service: 2 Came here for a private event. 1. Steak and carnitas tacos ~Pretty good. Both proteins were cooked nicely, and the corn guac, black beans, red sauce, and pickled onions were nice add-ons. 2. Mexican market popsicles ~Okay. Strawberry tasted pretty artificial, but at least it had chunks of strawberry in it. 3. Quinoa salad ~Okay. Service was rather poor since we ran out of cups and quinoa.

View restoran ini yang paling saya suka karena menghadap teluk dan jembatan megah di san francisco. Menu yang paling cocoj dengan lidah saya adalah salmon bakarnya... Hemmm nyumy...

Its a nice place to come for lunch during your exploratorium visit. Only way to access this restaurant is through your tickets. It has a nice view of bay. Its a mini private access. Also they have bars for tacos, sushi, mixed drinks, wine and beers. Food prices are a little expensive but if youre going to be in the exploratorium for all day then no choice. The staffs are very friendly.

Great view out into the bay. Love the fish tacos with a beer. My dinning companion had the steak tacos and I will definitely be back to try the steak tacos next time. If you plan to come here on a date make sure you call before hand.. this places gets jumping on the weekend and you might have a long wait if you dont call ahead before hand.

Lovely location and courteous staff but the food is small portioned and not tasty enough to be worth the price. Its fine. Its just that there are far, far better places to go in SF for a quick bite. This is basically nice food court food.

While fairly expensive, this restaurant is from the new school of good museum food. Say goodbye to crappy hotdogs and say hello to gourmet pizzas, rotisserie half-chickens, fresh sushi, and more. You can even get a cocktail here.

The food and drink options are healthy and gourmet. The problem really is the price and the options for kids. There just isnt enough for kids and what they do have is outlandishly expensive.

High priced junk food! Everything was Luke warm to cold and super salty. Even my Youngs kids who love junk food could barely stomach this place. Would not recommend!

The food is ordinary with a pretentious decor to justify the high prices. Great view of the Bay Bridge.
