Da wir im Viertel bleiben wollten, kamen wir nach einem kurzen Check bei GM hierher. Die Öffnungszeiten gingen bis 22:00, was uns auch sehr entgegen kam (warum schließt in SF jedes 2.te Restaurant bereits um 21.00-?) Das Essen war sehr authentisch, wenn auch Mango sticky rice nicht mit Thailand mithalten konnte. Der Rest war sehr lecker. Sehr freundlicher Service. Nur sitzen könnte man etwas netter.

Ill start off with the good parts: the service and the decor. The wait staff was really friendly and welcoming and I really liked the decor. Unfortunately, they dont make up for the lackluster food. I ordered the duck over rice and the rice was cold. I generally prefer warm rice over hot rice anyway, but this was straight up cold. Im probably being a bit harsh with this review, but come on, how hard is it to serve hot rice? I may give this place another shot, but considering how many actually good Thai places there are in the city, it wont be for a long while.

I go to Thailand often as my girlfriend is Thai, this place is very authentic. Also being a vegetarian my level of pickiness is pretty high, they always seem to come correct and are willing to make dishes to your custom order when possible (i.e. No fish sauce, or extra crispy... Etc). Definitely a big step up from the previous Thai spot that was here. My girlfriend grew up on Haight Street and I am a long time local. Although I wish they were still open late at night like before, everything else is way better.l

We used to eat at the "Best of Thai noodle" Now they sold the place and the recipes have changed drastically. The food now sucks, the old place had great calamari, and the dish was large and was made perfectly as good as any Italian restaurant. Now its the same old crappy Rings like any cheap restaurant. I had the Pad Thai and it was nothing like the old place, It was slop with carrots on the side. I guess they are going after the tourist market because the locals like us will not be going back.

This place used to have food that wasnt the best quality but for a relatively cheap price and the fact that it stayed open late, wasnt that bad. Then they changed the name, raised the prices considerably and stopped staying open late but kept the same crappy food and menu. Now its just a tourist trap. I dont know any locals that still go there.

This is your average run of the mill Thai place. While the food was by no means bad in any way, it was also not memorable in any way. The location, right smack dab on Haight street makes it a popular place. I would come back if I was in the area and feeling Thai but I would not specifically trek here from across the city.

Here for an early dinner on a Friday night, the place filled up before we were done. Had the pad thai. Nice mild sauce, zero spice (as I like it!). Light sauce, too, but plenty of salt (could be less). My dining companions had curries that looked pretty good and they said they enjoyed them. Prices were reasonable.

Worst Thai Ive ever had Pad Thai was awful contained noodles n bean sprouts tasteless and oily, also had 2 other noodles dishes oily noodles soggy... Will definitely not be going back and doesnt even deserve 1 star.... Nasty...

I ordered the lunch special and everything was disgustingly sweet - even the Tom yum soup. Very disappointed with the food as they clearly just pour sugar into everything to cater for every fat Americans tastebuds.

Lunch special comes with salad, soup, appetizer and main course. The Tom Yum soup is simply amazing. Defiantly eat here when you have the chance. Pad Thai comes with meat and tofu. Add your own spicy sauces.
