came here on a weeknight for date night. We got a half carafe of the rose du jour, which hit the sweet spot for our budget and taste for the night. I had the beef and veal meatballs & spaghetti and he had the seafood stew. The meatballs were great! Good blend of the two types of meat and tasty, not breaking the bank. Seafood stew was a bit watery for a "stew", but tasted fine. Id probably try something else next time. The service is great and its a cute cozy Italian place on Fillmore surrounded by cute shops and bars to do things before or after. Only problem is that its tough to choose between all the restaurants!

The food and ambience was wonderful. My friend and I decided to eat here after enjoying some excellent margaritas. Since it was Friday night, we were lucky to get a table. I had delicious seared Black cod with very sweet grilled scallions. My friend had the Porcini fettucini with several varities of mushrooms. We both enjoyed a yummy butter lettuce salad, which was perfectly dressed and sprinkled with herbs. Clean plates and happy campers all around. Dessert was a shared Huckleberry creme brulee. Food and service was excellent and I look forward to coming back again.

Excellent French bistro in Lower Pac Heights. Has a traditional French ambiance with dark lighting, dark, warm colors and a very cozy seating arrangement. Almost too cozy when the restaurant it full. The food however is excellent. The black cod was perfectly prepared and the chicken was juicy, tender and seasoned just right. I also highly recommend the prawns as a starter. Wine list is reasonable and cocktails are well made.

Florio has the requisite components of a nice restaurant, but for some reason they just didnt come together well. The interior is a bit dreary, the host wasnt very accommodating and our waitress wasnt the most gracious. The food was also pricey for the portion sizes. That said, our dishes were indeed good and we thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers as well.

The food was delicious, though a little on the expensive side for what you get. You are paying for above average quality and the ambience. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and friendly, also accommodating to any allergies. They serve Pan Epi by Acme Bread, which I love! It is a bit dark, however, so it was hard to read the tiny print on the menu.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in SF. Florio is the perfect balance of a neighborhood restaurant, with a bit of a refined feel. The food is dependably delicious, even as the menu changes to reflect food availability. Definitely check it out and is also a great reason t spend time on Fillmore street.

Pros: - Lavazza coffee was good! - quick to be seated - classy interior design Cons: - slow to receive food (even when we were the only patrons) - French toast was burned (and flipped upside-down to hide char) Bottom line: come here if youre really hungry and every other restaurant on Fillmore has a long wait

If you want delicious Italian food there are few better places than Florios on Fillmore. The service is cordial, the environment is romantic, so make sure to bring a date, and the food is delectable time and time again. If you want to enjoy an evening with your loved one then Florios is the place for you.

Great ambience and solid service. Food wasnt great though. Across the board, mussels were below average, ravioli was undercooked and chicken was really oily. There are better options in this hood imo.

Great place for an intimate dinner and to celebrate our engagement with friends! Ambiance lends itself to a hip, quiet gathering. Cant wait to come back! Food and service were wonderful!

Food and service was great. Only negative is that they leave the door open to attract customers and in December it was really cold. My girlfriend had to leave her jacket on to eat.

Classy but low-key spot (family / old school feel with new school prices) - excellent food and wine.
