My 13 year old daughter had pasta a la metal wire. Yes…metal wire! I showed it to our waiter who offered to deduct the plate from our bill. I asked for the manager. The manager took no responsibility for it and not once did anyone in the restaurant ask if my daughter was OK. Had she swallowed the metal wire she could have had serious internal injuries. They basically served a lawsuit on a platter. Fortunately, she did not swallow it but we could no longer trust the food. They gave us two free desserts which I appreciate but it just wasn’t enough to stop me from posting what happened. Especially since they were not the least bit concerned for my daughter’s health. I have to admit that the food was good. We told them that we only had an hour as we were trying to catch a movie but it took a long time to get our food despite the fact that there were only four or five other tables with customers. We missed our movie. Had they cared about my daughter a little more and maybe showed a little fear of a possible law suit, or maybe…just maybe…not charged me for the meal, I would have considered returning. They ruined our meal and our night. My best advice…chew your food well before swallowing.

I order their version of Bún Thịt Nướng. It was somewhat pale compared to a real Vietnamese restaurant. The fish sauce was too tangy and a few items I appreciate and consider typical to the dish were missing such as cilantro and basil. The Sea Bass that my father had was very good. The apps that my brother had were good but smallish. Wine that we ordered by the glass was great accompaniment to the dishes and a good value at $8-10. No air conditioning made the dinner just this side of miserable being that it was about 100 Fahrenheit outside. Would go back for the Sea Bass to go.

The food is amazing! I have never tasted anything so great and I am a picky diner. I had not tasted Vietnamese cuisine before Bui and now I am tottaly converted. The meat is so tender and is perfectly complemented by the sauces and seasonings they use. Last time I was there we had to order seconds of everything. The interior has a simple clean layout and decorations. Everyone is so friendly. Definitely visit Bui as soon as possible!

Amazing Pho! My husband and I just love going or order out. All the pho is delicious chicken, beef or beef with meatballs they are all very good and great when we are sick or now during the cold weather. Plus comedy night was a blast the last time we went, got the announcement on Facebook!

This is our must go to restaurant if we are in Napa. Their grilled sea bass just melt in your mouth. The duck confit is another excellent dish and I couldnt get enough of it. Ask for a daily special and Chef Bui might serve you something amazing that will keep you coming back.

The atmosphere is very nice. The service is exceptional and the food is outstanding. If you want some delicious French-Vietnamese food, this is a must. After dinner you can stroll downtown which is right there. Enjoy!
