Dear Batter, Your treats are delectable, maybe the best cookie Ive ever had. But your loyalty card is so irritating! It has become a water cooler topic at my place of work across the street from your kiosk - oh yes! Your loyalty card makes a customer try EVERY single item (~15 different kinds of cookies) in order to get ONE free cookie. That means buying the items that are so niche that no one ever really wants them, or they are unavailable every time we visit your kiosk :(. I get what your intention is, but it really doesnt work for consumer taste buds and even allergies, and especially stock-outs. As a collective group of coworkers who frequent your shop, weve probably purchased around, lets say, 100 or so cookies/baked goods. We have yet to get a card punched entirely because no one really wants that pesky orange pistachio shortbread thats never on-shelf anyways. Please PLEASE please just do the sensible thing and make a generic "buy X cookies, get 1 free" loyalty card. Customers cookie choice. Thank you.

I tried the cookies from Batter Bakery for the first time this week and this has easily become my favorite bakery. My bakery go-to are chocolate chip cookies and the ones here are great, as are the chocolate mint and lavender salt shortbread, but the best is the Sands Angel. Its a cross between a molasses cookie and snickerdoodle, flavors I dont usually go for, but this was delicious. The cookies are the perfect combination of chewy with crispy edges though they are a bit of an indulgence due to the price and the size of the cookie (a substantial size and density, but not as much as Specialtys). The kiosk is also a 15-20 minute walk from my office, but I will happily make the walk for these cookies.

Convenient location if you work in FiDi, fresh baked goods everyday! I love the Lavender Sea Salt mini shortbread cookies!!!! Their bakery is in Russian Hill (Polk St), but I work right across the street from their kiosk. Tip: take a look at the chalk A-board outside for special items they have that day! I almost walked by the other day till I stopped after seeing the Banana Nutella muffin! The girl said they dont have it available everyday :D I also get the mint chocolate cookie when they have it too.

I have been purchasing a package of shortbread cookies @ $5.75 over the last several months and getting a stamp for every purchase. When I came in to redeem the card @ $3.50, I was told that I could not apply the $3.50 value to a purchase of shortbread cookies contrary to what the person told me when I purchased the 12th package of shortbread cookies. Another example of read the fine print - at least Peets and other food vendors honor their free cards.

I dont mean to be closed-minded, but I dont think I will ever have a cookie that will top this. These cookies are literally mounds. Chewy, wonderful, gooey, I love how the center oozes. Im a big fan of cookie dough, and the center is like cookie dough. True love. Scones, brioche, and baguette with butter and jam are all amazing, but dont miss the cookies. All are worth trying, but the choco chip walnut is a classic of course.

Many of the yummy Batter Bakery treats in a cute little kiosk on the slope of a steep hill right in Downtown San Francisco! Get there early since they do run out of the more tasty treats. But a great reward for hiking up California after or before lunch! Favorites are the cupcakes and pound cake style breads.

This quaint little cylinder of baked goodness is a rich respite amid the bustle of FiDi. Honey Fig Goat Cheese Scone this morning was perfect - crisp outside, rich buttery inside, subtle sweetness. One of the best scones Ive ever had the pleasure of consuming!

The people that work here are so kind and helpful! Everything is always fresh baked and delicious. Their cupcakes and cookies are a huge hit at our office. The location is very convenient. Great place all around! I wouldnt change a thing.

Expensive treats but they are indeed tasty. Various choices of shortbread cookies, brownies, etc... Not a pleasing location to shop though, go to the other one on Polk St instead.
