Im just here right now... Personnel is grumpy. Then they charge you 25cents if you use credit. For a mocha at $4.50!!! Even with a double shot, mine at home has a taste if coffee... This is just a chocolate milk... Then I ask for wifi: another very rude answer to say No they dont have wifi. Although I see their network... So dont lie to me: you do have wifi- just dont want to provide it to your customers Im moving into another shop!

Moonside is such a hidden gem in Half Moon Bay! When you walk in the door, its clear that this place doesnt mess around when it comes to baked goods. From cookies to muffins to cakes, the carb possibilities are endless. But what makes this place great is that you can have the best of both breakfast worlds with a great bacon/sausage egg dish along with a side of sweet brioche French toast or pancakes. Yumm!

Ordered a glass of wine I took a sip of the wine and did not like it I asked if I could get a refund or even exchange for something else I was told no I asked if I could speak to the owner in which they told me no Im sorry he just left and would not give me a refund wouldnt even give my son a $2 muffin instead of my glass of wine horrible customer service

Nice location and ambiance is decent. Poor employee training and communication between front and back staff. Food was mediocre and my wife did not enjoy her latte which was likely non-fat (not what she ordered). Orange juice was, however, excellent. Staff was friendly though and exchanged the bad latte for a pastry which was excellent.

Great spot for a light breakfast or lunch or bask in the sun as you have a cup of coffee with a fresh pastry. Not patisserie quality but at the higher side of average when it comes to American bakeries. They also have a wood fire oven for their pizza. Still havent tried one though. Lots of good options.

You know a bakery is good when you walk in and they have sold pretty much everything. I got a raspberry danish, and it was the best danish Ive ever had. Also the staff is very friendly, and the location is prime. I will be stopping by here anytime I am in Half Moon Bay!

Excellent breakfast food for cheap! $9.25 got me: 3 strips of Bacon, large mass of scrambled eggs, 2 thick slices of sourdough toast, fruit, potatoes, and a pancake with strawberries on top. Super friendly service, and a beautiful patio to eat on! :)

Just had one thing: the hazelnut ring. Best idea we had. Super tasty cookie with a layer of chocolate and hazelnuts and chocolate cream (Nutella???) on top, and it was just the right amount of sweet. Service was pleasant and simple. Awesome.

Ordered a 12oz mocha for 4 dollars but only actually got served maybe 8oz. Which in the end was a blessing because it tasted horrible. The pastries we ordered were just okay and the staff was really unfriendly. I would not recommend.

Busy little cafe/eatery in Half Moon Bay. You order and pay at the cashier and take a number and seat yourself. They bring you the food. Service was prompt, food was delicious, atmosphere was nice on the outdoor patio on a nice day.

Stopped for goodies for the trip back to So Cal and the cookies were REALLY GOOD! Had to fight with the rest of the family for the moon sugar cookies. YUM! Makes me want to go back just hinking about it now.

Im a local in Half Moon Bay. Moonside Bakery has delicious pastries, desserts, and other food. However, the service isnt very accomadating and they have some misleading signs, plus they pretty overpriced.

Slooooow service when we ordered lunch...one hour we waited for our food, and then it was only mediocre. Stick with Half Moon Bay Bakery--since 1906-- and the deli down the street!
