I ran into the chef, Malissa, out in Mission Hills and was so excited to hear about a cool restaurant closer to where I live in Point Loma. We have been in several times now and are always really impressed. Malissa makes the most wonderful food! And she does it all by hand - even pickles the pickles on site! I am totally in love with the banana-caramel bread pudding, and frequently stop by for desert even if we did dinner elsewhere. My hubby loves the pubcakes, which are always creative and interesting and never too sweet. The servers always suggest interesting wine pairings with our order, and even a habit-driven person like me really likes trying their suggestions. On our most recent visit we were pleasantly surprised by the cozy patio with pretty fire elements and lovely live music that was just what we wanted. I love that this place always offers something new, but still always feels like coming home.

They charged more tip than authorized. Management should sit down with all their employees and remind them that increasing their tip is fraud. I dont want to see anyone fired, but I dont want people to be taken advantage of either. Very glad we kept the receipt to dispute the higher charge on our credit card. All this is still true: Great atmosphere, wine and food. Service was spectacular. Cute dog friendly patio. Remember to request water if needed the area is experiencing drought conditions.

I love this place for many reasons. GREAT food, with an awesome seasonal menu so you know youre eating fresh. Also, wonderful atmosphere. The outdoor patio is super romantic at night with all of the twinkle lights on. They offer live acoustic music on the weekends, and super fun painting events on occasional sundays. I love that the owners are Point Loma locals and they great their customers like family.

My friend and I happened upon this wine bar one evening before going out with some other friends. We walked in and instantly fell in love with the place. The atmosphere is so calming and the wait staff was so friendly and pleasant! Great food and even better wine! I would definitely recommend this place to ANYONE! They have beer as well for people who dont like wine.

anyone who doesnt love this place is trippin haha. I was never even a big fan of Thai food til I started eating here. I go in multiple times a week sometimes now. Everything Ive eaten (which is like most of the menu) has been the most delicious things ever. Service is always nice and the place is small and cute. Highly recommend to anyone.

Liked the atmosphere. Great combination of casual and contemporary. Blues music was playing. Wine selection was decent. Had burrata (my favorite). It came with a peach and onion chutney. It complimented the burrata nicely, but the bruchetta was stale. Nicely toasted, but stale.

Great little wine pub. Lots of locals enjoy a drink on the patio in the summer evenings. Im not that much of a wine enthusiast to opine about the quality of wine. But, Ive had $4 glasses (yuck!) and $13 glasses (yum!). So, I think the whole gamut of options are available.

Sitting here at the bar and I must stink because no one will give me the time of the day.....I feel like an outcast....normally Im with other people and would not notice. Good lesson for my self to make everyone fell welcome no matter were Im at.

The Wine Pub is an important place for my family. We love it -- it has a great local vibe and wonderful wine selection. The owner, Sandy, is awesome, as is the menu and the entire staff. Love!
