This place is pretty darn good figuring its hard to find good Chinese food. Its either good or really really bad Ive found. I love their sweet and sour chicken. Its nice and crispy and covered with delicious sauce. I usually add extra chili paste to make mine nice and spicy. Their fried rice is good and all of their fried rice sides with veggies or meat look great! Ive also tried their Kung Pao chicken and its pretty darn good. My favorite of course is the cream cheese won-tons. I could just eat these every day for the rest of my life! Mmmmmm.....get them in orders of 4 or 6! Usually my bf and I order one dinner and an order of 6 won-tons and we can split that perfectly between us! They are fast and only accept cash so keep this in mind!

Nice little corner restaurant. Food is very good but dont look for any extras. If youre city folk, keep an open mind. They dont take credit cards. Cash only. My girl and I had to scrape up the every bit of change we had. Literally, we had 6 cents left and a pocket full of credit cards. I was getting take out and they didnt even have plates. But it is what it is. Its there for the food, not to be lavish. Good place to just sit down and have some good food. Friendly and cozy. If you want good food, This is the right place.

Rat poison? Frozen truck food? These people have never eaten at The Little Chef. Mary Ann runs a very nice restaurant. Everything is clean, and the food is cooked to order. (Okay, maybe they have some ingredients frozen - but nothing is pre-cooked.) My wife and I have been eating here for 20 years, ever since she had the diner on the corner as well. Its simply some of the best Chinese food in town, and very good prices. Yes, its cash only - but theres an ATM right outside the door. Go there, you wont be sorry.

Nasty cheap food. I paid cash for my food - that is all they accept and then I saw them reach in a huge box of frozen Chinese food and dump it in the deep fat fryer. Some of the Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I ate some because I was so hungry but left over half of it for them to dump. I wish I had gone back to Natis for Mex food. Dont put this cheap frozen food truck food in your body. Dumpy, cheap joint should have tipped me off....... oh well, now you know.

This is a great place for Chinese Food if you visit the Sunset Cliffs. We found this place by GPS POI. It is a small carry-out place with nine years history. But if you choose to stay, there is still some seats available. Actually, we stopped by twice since I like the taste. The owner is a very nice Chinese Lady. There are a lot of local people eating there. It is true that only cash is accepted. But it is not true that you spend more than ten dollars per person.

Used to come here every other Thursday, for their Lemon Chicken special. It was basically chicken Kautsu, only with a nice sweet lemon sauce drizzled over the top. It was spectacular, and kept me coming back every other Thursday for a while. They recently raised their prices, which has made it quite hard to come back into this place, but if you got the cash and love Mandarin (Chinese) food, then I do say its worth it.

Its about the only Chinese place for miles and only has a few 2 tops, so its not a place to take a group for a sit down meal. Rather more of a take out place. Theres just one cook and the do get so slammed they stop taking orders... but I like stopping in for some dumplings as a cheap, hot snack.

The fried Rice was a joke ,loaded with enough soy sauce to kill anyone , to a dark brown color, the House Special Chicken , the sauce was disgusting, kinda sweet , but why ,? Its was gross. The dumplings were great . Over all i wont be back , tbrew my meal in the garbage. Saddened

You need to pay with cash, otherwise, the food is fresh and delicious. There are only 3 places to sit, so taking your order to go is recommended. It is in the hub of OB, so parking is a challenge. I keep going back because the food is good and reasonably priced.

Ive been to the Little Chef at least 15 times in the last 30 months and have never gotten sick. One dinner and an order of egg rolls, about $11, are enough for my husband and I to split. The best part, they will make anything extra spicy if you ask :)

Food lacks flavor. Could not distinguish the difference between the beef and chicken. Rice was too soppy. No wonder they give you so many condiments, it is to hide the fact there is no taste.

This may be "the bear Chinese in town", but only because it is the ONLY Chinese food in town. Really, terrible food. Comparable to the worst mall Chinese food you have had.

Delicious Kung Pao Vegetables with steamed rice. Made with fresh carrots, celery, mushrooms, water chestnuts, snow peas, peanuts and store made Kung Pao sauce.
