After a visit to Vacaville Outlets, we figured why not drive a little further to The Squeeze Inn to try the much talked about Cheese-Skirted Burger! 1) In line 5:15pm 2) 5:35pm Made it to Order Counter; female walks away without acknowledging or announcing she would return. While waiting/wondering if I want to pursue this or the Japanese place a few doors down, took a look around. Dining Area/Kitchen floors a mess; ditto back porch. Restroom a mess. With all these people fighting for seating (you are directed to order and someone will seat you—it caused more anxiety/animosity amongst the customers I thought), BUT I decided to go through with this 3) 6:05pm (50 mins. after arrival) FINALLY, order slip is pulled down by Cook to prepare 4) 3 orders behind us, and after ours was taken off the grill (did our order get forgotten on the side?), are announced for pickup! Our order was not special--very simple. Now was the time to scream! 5) At long last, 6:15pm, after nudging the Grill Team, we get our order. Fries gone cold. Cheese Skirt Crunchy and YUMMY as we heard but, burger patty not home-made; more like the kind you find pre-frozen at the Grocery Store. Soda machine lost its carbonation--who can enjoy a burger and cold fries without some fizz! Wow...all that time waiting and the gas we used to get up there. Spent $50.00 for 4 people! What a disappointment. The service left a bad taste in our mouths. How did they pass inspection (cleanliness) and receive all those great reviews? Did we go on a bad day? Maybe you’ll have a better experience than we did.

My husband, daughter and I decided to see what all the hype was about, so as we drove up, there was already a line out the door. Well, okay, so I thought, it must be that awesome! It took about 45 min to get our order in.. and when the girl told us it would take another 45min to an hour for our food, my jaw dropped! What?! Mind you, theres no seats in the waiting area, if the wall is considered the waiting area...so I had to go sit outside and wait...and wait...Now tired, hot, and starving, people like myself, tend to get irritated...and it got worse when they announced there was no more ICE! Omg, so, when my food is done, I would have to drink it down with some warm soda? When the food arrived, (now going into 2 hours ), our fries were over-done, our cheeseburger soggy and had fallen apart before I even touched it! Did I mention the poor customer service? No smiles, no looks, nothing... If Im going to wait 2 hours for a hamburger, the taste better be out of this world, right? Not in this case, future Squeeze Inn customers...an average burger joint with a cheese skirt hype gone wrong...good luck!

I am long-haul truck driver and I drive between 48 states for living everyday. I heard so much about this place so I thaught to go and check out their new location. I stood about 30 min in line to put my order in. Then I waited in there for 39 minutes to get my food. I paid over 12 dollar for their burger + fries + drink. Also to mention there were two blondies standing on prep table fixing the burgers. I saw them touching their hair and eye makeup while they fixed my food. NOW THAT AINT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far quality of food goes It was one of the louziest burger i ever had. As far fries they were grozen out of the sams club bag. NOW I dont mean no disrespect to anyone at all but this is what you call highway robbery in open day light. I am trying real hard but I cant find anything special or good to say about this place. Therefore, I wouldnt go back and I wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Uncomfortable surroundings and a feeling of cramped quarters.......anyone who is remotely claustrophobic should avoid this place. As to the burgers & fries, they are EXCELLENT but they are very expensive. We paid $16.65 (including tax & tip) for our 2-person lunch. The fries are a good deal ($2.50 for a very large box, enough for two people). The burgers ($4.80) are rather pricey considering the surroundings. My wife did not get to enjoy her meal because of the lack of elbow room. The person next to her kept bumping into her! They put way too much ice into the drinks. I had to keep asking for refills because there was hardly any liquid in the cup. On the plus side, the waitress did ask me if I wanted a lid after my last refill. I would rate this place as follows: AMBIENCE: ONE STAR FOOD: FOUR STARS overall rating; THREE STARS.

After seeing the Squeeze Inn on Food Network we drove all the way from Folsom to try it. We arrived at the old location before the lawsuit. We waited in line over 45 minutes to order and we waited another 30 minutes for our food. It was a decent cheeseburger, but that is really all I can say about it. They had 3 employees working, one cooking on a small grill, one taking orders and one running food. Today I thought I would give the place another try since they had moved to a brand new location on Power Inn Rd, certainly they would have more seating, a bigger grill and more employees this time around. I arrived at 2pm on a Friday afternoon and the line was 30 people deep out the door!!! I turned right back around and got back into my car.

At first it was questionable if the burger place was going to be as good as someone told me. Sadly it is messy and a tight place to be with a big group. I ordered and service was decent. Soon as I got my food the "cheese skirt" that the place was known for was somewhat burnt at the bottom. wasnt expecting that but thats how its traditionally done but once I finally got to the meat it was great. nice and juicy, thick meat patties, very enjoyable. Nice big soda cups. thick syrup soda. Sad fries though. was kind soggy and no flavor. Only regret not known the cheese would be burnt. I will go back and order a not so long cheese skirt and not be burnt. 4/5 for messy floors and tables plus I personally dont like somewhat burnt cheese.

It the most overrated burger in town and restaurant is so pack because of the media hype. The taste just like any other burger but the only difference is the big fried cheese. I wonder if Squeeze Inn pay the guy who host the dinner and drive (from the food network) for the review. It could be the connection or a favor. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME STANDING IN LINE AND IT’S NOT WORTH IT. If taste is want you want, then you should try going to Hefty Burger in West Sacramento off the West Capitol Ave. It the best burger I ever tasted (Double Hefty Cheeseburger). The restaurant is just across from the McDonalds. DON’T TAKE MY WORTH FOR IT. Go and try for yourseft.

Hey retards, if you show up to a place with a line 30+ people deep. You will be there awhile. So dont trash the place because you thought it would be like mcdonalds where you can 20 pre-cooked burgers in 10min... My wife and I went to the old location, squeezed in the door on a 100 degree day, waited 20min and when we got our food they were closing. They were so nice! They let us stay and cleaned around us. They insisted we take our time and even refilled our drinks for us and waited on us like a regular restaurant. The best burger iv had in a long time and well worth the wait!!
