Service is always the best.Best Strawberry Waffle in town. Best blue cheese burger anywhere .Best ice cream anywhere. Needs to work on cooks following receipes not Everyone likes everything spicy every soup is spicy how hard is tomato basil ? Needs to work on cooks ability to boil eggs make Hollindaise sauce fresh;it should never be served not creamy its reheated soo many times that its broke down..The boiled eggs arent even yellow.Needs to change up menu.

Staff is nice, but can be a bit inattentive at times. Ive cream is fantastic but a some burger cant be prepared properly. After ordering a burger well done it comes out with dripping in fat and grease pooling on my plate. After sending it back I got one exactly the same way and was told it was the best that could be done. I can order a burger well done at McDonalds and not have this issue. Why cant a nice restaurant like this do it?

My wife and I like this place so much we plan or trip departure times so that we will be in Galt around lunch time so we can eat here. My parents do the same. The staff is super friendly and the food is awesome. Fresh vegetable soup is great. Home made bread for sandwiches is to die for. I cant even come up with the right words to describe their ice cream. I definitely recommend stopping here for a bite and ice cream.

I had the chicken sandwich and a strawberry milkshake, both were very fresh and tasty. Nice friendly service, clean restaurant. My takeaway from the whole experience, is that everyone at the Velvet Grill cares about what they are doing, and that translates to a positive experience for the customer. Bravo to the staff and owners for maintaining high standards for doing it right, and the cooks for making it delicious!

Warm greeting, followed with prompt seating at a comfy booth, even though I was alone. Ordered the meatloaf dinner, with mashed potatoes...it was very good. Moist meatloaf tasty gravy...potatoes were mashed just right. Even the veggies and toast were delicious. I orderd to go for my wife and son...Treat yourself to this place. The world will be a better place!

The ONLY reason I did not give Velvet 5 stars is for the quality of the salads. They were so-so. BUT THE BURGERS AND THE ICE CREAM- incredible!!! The cookie dough ice was everything I wanted to be and my avocado, bacon burger was juicy and bursting with flavor! Well done to Velvet, I am very satisfied!

We were in Galt on a whim, and this place was recommended by a local. We were greeted by Rebecca who was a joy. She was personable, friendly, and made us feel at home. I had a cheeseburger and the wife had a chili cheese dog. Both were great. Service was quick and attentive. We highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about thier amazing food. No matter the day or time our experience has been wonderful. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu but watch out for thier pancakes because theyre terribly addicitng! (I call them "crackcakes" Lol)

Great food, yummy ice cream!! Great seating on the patio, if you dont mind the view of the railroad tracks. Easy to park. Came with a large group last time, weekend and fairly busy. We were quickly seated! Staff is always attentive and friendly.

We were passing through town and decided to stop here. I ordered a chile relleno burger. It was a little bland so I smothered it in cholula. The staff was nice. They had a highchair for my little one and didnt have to wait too long to be seated.

Amazing! Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Food came out quick and tasted fresh and home-made. The ice cream was fabulous! The price was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I will be coming back here often!

Their food is OK but they mistreat all of their minority guests. The family that owns the restaurant is clearly anti-immigrant. All of their staff is white and they give poor service to any guest that isnt white.
