Eh, I give this place three stars because Im not entirely sure how I feel about this place. The experience wasnt that memorable, thus, Im on the fence. I had gone for a friends birthday party and was surprised to see how far back the restaurant goes. Considering Ive driven past this place a thousand times, youd think Id know more about it, but alas, Ive only been once in my lifetime. The prices were okay, not necessarily reasonable, but not high either. I had ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu and it was really salty. The mashed potatoes were probably my favorite part of the dish, but I couldnt even finish my chicken with the Bleu cheese sauce because of how salty it was. The Caesar salad and clam chowder were extremely delicious, however. Based on having a mixed experience at this place, my recommendation isnt really about whether or not you should eat here, its more of a "there are a lot of great restaurants in Sacramento, so eat here if you want to, but Id go elsewhere for a guaranteed better experience."

This little dive is a good place to catch a game and grab some food and drinks. We tried the Kobe beef sliders and the mini taco plate that were both tasty. If you like a little extra heat I would suggest asking the bartender to add jalapenos to the sliders. The grilled them up nicely and really enhanced the sliders, yum!

Ordered a Jalapeno burger and onion rings to go. The burger was decent, but the onion rings are pathetic! On the phone they said they were "lightly battered" but these onion rings were 99% onion 1% batter. Greatly disappointed.. $6 for a styrofoam container full of greasy onions.. :(

This is a fun place to grab breakfast/brunch or lunch on the weekend. Small cozy place with friendly staff. Breakfast is great and the lunch has great size portions. I had the bacon burger today and it was juicy and tasted good. Fun little get away from Sac but still in Sac.

Got an appetizer sampler (fried zucchini, mini tacos, and wings) and Im so glad we did. Everything was delicious, especially the drummies (fried chicken wings). They make a decent whiskey sour and the bartender was nice.

Rustic but comfortable, food is a bit pricy but was excellent, loved the mini tacos. You can have dinner in the bar but its close quarters with other patrons. Staff was friendly and service was good.

Great little hideaway. Have been here 3 times and have enjoyed it each time. Highly recommend the Seafood Platter. It is in the appetizer section, but it is a full meal for two people.

I grew up in south Sac and live in Chicago this place rocks. Its not fancy but the food is awesome staff is nice and the bar is no frills great. Patio is good. Its worth the drive.

The Happy Hour is great, good deals and fantastic food. Make sure you try the zucchini, (cut and breaded fresh daily!) and the bruschetta.
