Service was friendly fast and I got a receipt. Ordered beef rolled tacos. At first glance looked like the guacamole had food color so I was apprehensive of taste. The rolled tacos were very hard on ends and soggy in middle. The had no taste. Looked like chicken and maybe card board? Maybe they just heat up food that was sitting for 3 days from a factory made source? Since its next to 7 eleven they might get the food from them. The redeeming factor was the salsa and the service. Maybe I just got a bad batch. The beans and rice had good texture but no taste except salt. The guacamole had a bitter after taste. I was on way to the dentist and had to return to work or something I might have returned to the business to report and show them the food they gave me. I threw out the rolled tacos after about 5 bites. I had to chew from the side of my mouth because they were tough at the first bites. I ate all the beans and rice salsa. At night and upon waking I am feeling traumatized and apologizing to my body for eating the tacos and guacamole. Also the drink was Jamaica from a company not sure if it was real either.

Always consistent, delicious Carne Asada, Adobada, lengua, and the shrimp cocktail is off the hook! Whether its a Burrito or Taco its worth the trip. The namesake California Burrito is also tasty. If you really want a treat, theres Amazing Carne Asada fries! :-) oops, treat, as in dessert? The Churros are served piping hot and theres wonderful Horchata and Jamaica. Well have to run.... To California Burrito!

This new place was Newley re opened I think new owners, but wow what a great place to eat. I HIGHLY recommend it . I take all my friends here and they all fell in love with this place. My favorite is the California burrito, it is nothing like i tasted before. Their tacos are very generous size and the dont give you small sizes of anything here, Im always welcomed with big smiles. The staff here is very friendly .

I like the place but they been getting slower and slower and there food is not as seasoned as before. They take forever to make just one taco with noone in front of them. Or when I say no guacamole because Im allergic they still put it on so I cant eat it and by that time Im frustrated and dont want to eat has happened several times. I just dont know what happened.

do thet pay for these reviews?? my food was ROTTEN ! first the cashier didnt give me a reciept and when i asked she rung me up again..mind u i was paying cash. ordered a breakfast burrito and it came with slimy eggs and soggy french fries. this place is a blatant copy cat of Carolinas seriously!

Very good. On par in price and quality with other 24-hour Mexican places (Betos, Carolinas, Adalbertos). The Carnitas is very good and wonderfully crispy. Conveniently located right next to a 7-11 for other late-night snacks. Open 24 hours but drive-thru only at night.

Do Not Go Here, Their Food Is Greasy And Sloppy. Poor Customer Service And If You Wanna Wait In The Drive Thru For Over 20 Minutes For Nasty Food Be My Guest. Youre Better Off Going To El Forasteros Or Taqueria Los Compadres They Are So Much Better And Way Better Service.

California Burrito drive thru, oddly, has a love it/hate it thing going on. Youll never know if the food will be great, or sickening. Ive gotten both. I suggest that management keep a closer eye on things.

went late, got rushed to order then waited 30 mins for my food . food was fresh and hot but had 0 flavor no salt or anything! bad customer service. the super burrito didnt come with sour cream nor cheese

Just got some Sunday breakfast there this morning. Friendly service , food was great . Got a combo plate and only ate half of it. Well be eating the rest for lunch. LOL. A lot of food for the money.

Salsa 101 means not to have it so watered down it barely has a taste. It was not like that at first, it has changed the last month I have eatin there. But the food is ok.

Pretty friendly service and they dont charge for jalapenos! The mini tacos are stuffed with meat and they are open 24hrs. Hard not to find something you like.
