NOT for special occasions! Celebrated 100th birthday of Italian grandmother at Mama Terano in Rolling Hills Estates. Food was very good and service was decent. However, DO NOT recommend for special occasions! Despite saying many times that it was a 100th birthday celebration (not very common), they made NO effort to make it special. Even forgot to put candle in her dessert. We were a party of 17 with a very early reservation (so not busy). You think the owner (who was there) would have AT LEAST come over once to say Happy Birthday or even ask how things were. Bottom line, go there for dinner but go someplace else for something special. The Appetizer across the street did more for her 99th birthday dinner!! Also, when making reservation mentioned that we had 2 children and 1 infant. Good time to tell me they do not have highchairs or booster seats!

This is the best kept secret in the West Village right now. Their wines by the glass are interesting and well curated and the food is amazing. The ambience is unique and perfect. I think the name is probably a little confusing (and they should consider changing it so people know this is a wine bar and restaurant). Anyway, just an amazing find in the deep west village

Hidden gem. The restaurant can get very crowded. The menu is limited, but good. Havent tried the Sunday Night Family Style dinner.

Simple, rustic, great service and affordable. To be fair, its the ONLY place on the hill that deserves to be called a "restaurant."
