I thunk the food is good however I just came in and order to go and when I 4got home. U must have have me someonelses. Order. And Im calling to let them know. But no answer I am not one to complain. But I am new in town and this is my 3r d visit there. And. The last 2 times. I didnt get what we ordeted. So the moral is check your food beforre u leave. Especially. When u drive 10 miles home. And relize. The kids arent happy. Just hungry

The best and hidden Mexican Food Restaurant in our little town of Rodeo. The Chicken Enchilada, Burritos, and soft shell Fish or Prawn Tacos are the best tasting food in this Restaurant and are my familys favorites! My family and I go here every chance we have to either dine in or have the food as takeout. Prices are the most reasonable and is considered relatively low! Strongly recommend El Sol Restaurant to everyone who loves Mexican Food.

I wanted to try the super burrito Camorones (tiger prawns) grilled with fresh salsa with avocado and ordered two plus one El Rey Nachos for a total of $27. Super burrito was full of beans and shrimp was skimpy (not prawns) plus avocado was missing! The nachos was also lacking in flavor. So disappointing as I was hoping to be a regular customer because it is closer than Martinez and Concord authentic Mexican eateries.

Ive been going to El Sol for over 10 years. The decor inside is great and the staff can sometimes be hit and miss. The food I love to order is the Bean and Cheese burrito and Cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. Its my go to comfort food and I know, its the simplest thing on the menu, but the flavor is always consistent and that is why I love this place.

Their steak and potato burritos are always good. I love their regular hard shell chicken tacos and their bean burritos, too. All their food is good. Theyve had the same owners since opening. Staff is always friendly.

This place has the best enchiladas Ive ever eaten. That rojo sauce keeps me coming back. Even the pork enchilada is tender enough to cut with a fork.
