Good for breakfast. Eating off the breakfast menu will be punished with less enjoyable food. The NY steak and eggs is consistently solid. The toast is usually lightly toasted, the steak is ACTUALLY medium rare if you so desire. The waffles are Belgian. Salads are delivered with heaping bowls of dressing (personally, I find that unappetizing). Embers consistently delivers a totally average menu that is prepared just better than average. The environment is very friendly, with ample parking. Two or three TVs usually show news and sports.

very unhappy I just picked up a order to go the girl was busy talking then she took my order and got the order wrong when I called to tell them my order was wrong they blamed it on the cooks. this is unacceptable . also I got the wrong order I ordered open faced bbq beef and got a bbq beef on a roll. sorry I think you just lost a customer and my friend will hear about this too!!!!!!!! my name is Thayne Castro I wrote this on my daughters acct.

I had the French Dip sandwich. They actually asked me how I would like the meat cooked which I had never been asked before for this type of sandwich. It arrived cooked medium rare like I asked and there was a huge portion of thick cut roast beef. It was awesome. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the interior could use an update and the service is slow but the food made up for it.

This place has definitely gone straight down hill.The food was dried out, fried chicken was disgusting.We should have known by the lack of people in the place.Always looked forward to get embers, because it was the closest food to the old Rods Hicory Pit.Now doesnt hold a close 10th place. Just plain nasty.

Love the linguesa sausage with scrambled eggs and hash browns. The right amount of flavoring between all 3 elements. Plus the staff do come and check on you frequently to make sure your satisfied with everything. Recommend going here for a nice and calm environment to simply hang out with friends & family

Came all the way from Oregon to have my favorite barbecue. I was so disappointed. The sauce was water down. It did not have the flavor it used to have. The ribs were so tough I could not chew them. I hope it comes back to what it used to be because it was the best. PS our waiter was the best

My moms omelette looked bomb even though i dont favor eggs.. Pancakes..... HORRRRIBLE... But i do have high standards when it comes to my pancakes and my expectations of which i feel they should be. But great price. $22 for 2 dull breakfast meals... Woot woot

Three french dips and a NY steak...none cooked correctly and one french dip smelled like cat piss. Couldnt eat any of it. Its pretty much hit and miss. Once in a while its good...but after the last meal, they couldnt get anything right...Ill never return.

Great quiet place to eat, but I removed 2 stars for the Horrible excuse for a Hot Pastrami sandwich. No mustard no oinions no pickles...... what I got was thick sliced peppered ham and cheese Pathetic! Ill stick to the ribs its hard to Screw those up!

Embers NY Steak & Eggs simply the best..quality of meat is excellent / chefs know exactly the meat temp requested.. love their pancakes too! We dont mind driving from Martinez for a yummy bfast!

I always order to go...always good food, there all ways busy Sundays so prepare to wait for at least 15 min. Theres 1 waitress with and attitude so whatch out..I took 1 star away because of her.

Place is empty during rush hour, 6 oclock, on any given night. There is no way to not feel awkward and singled out. The food is good but pricey, and reheated from being cooked earlier today

Friendly service, and good food! BBQ is nicely cooked. LOVED my pulled pork. Sauce is a little odd, but the sweet sauce on the pulled pork sandwich is very nice! Left full and happy!
