Ive been in the bakery three times now and really hope that they succeed but Im afraid I have some doubts. Went there on Sunday and had a delightful flaky almond croissant. However, while I was enjoying my coffee and croissant a dozen or so people came in and only one purchased anything. Several were looking for a more of a breakfast sandwich, so a croissant with egg, cheese...that kind of thing. Admittedly not something that I would necessarily expect to find in a bakery but theres a great need in this area for someone to offer them. Jammin Bread, a wonderful bakery which offers light meals is really the only other option and theyre closed on Sunday. Back to Creme De La Creme...I also purchased a loaf of iced raisin bread that family members said was out of this world. Snickerdoodles too were fresh and very good. The problems that I see are that you cant count on them having, even what theyre advertising on their sign. I know its risky to fill the display cases but people walk away when they seem pretty much empty. Second, the young woman behind the counter is trying but she needs some lessons in customer service. There were far too many times that morning that No came tripping across her tongue. You cant be out of bagels, muffins, or croissants at 10:00 on a Sunday morning. If the drink machine no longer works, get rid of it or at least take it out of the front of the store. If someone buys a bagel ask them if theyd like it sliced and toasted. Encourage people to stay a bit and theyll buy more bakery products if the display cases look inviting and the products are fresh. BTW, also bought a loaf of callah--delicious. I understand they have brought on board a German baker who is doing the bread and hes obviously very talented but they need him in there every day baking. Im keeping my fingers crossed that they succeed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered my own birthday cake, the largest they had which would cost over $110, I had a 50% coupon (still not enough). It was supposed to be a Las Vegas theme, however the decorations (dice and playing cards) were apparently done by a 10 year old, there was absolutely no creativity or effort put into my cake. The cake itself tasted as if it was from a mix(not dry not moist, cornbread like), for that kind of money I expected fresh ingredients. The frosting was wrong, and tasted of the bucket it came out of. The best part was when the girl working the counter put the cake box lid on top and managed to smash it into the cake, of course this was discovered when we got home. We tried to get our money back, of course nothing but attitude was offered, not even a sorry. I asked what if we noticed the damage and the poor decorations before we left, what would happen? Nothing Julie said. Before we left we made a comment about getting a Costco cake, which she thought was funny....but if you compare the two, a Costco cake has decorations that look like something and has the exact same taste and youll be up the $40 you saved. Go there quick because they will not be open much longer!!! UPDATE: Look how quick Julie got a friend or relative to write a review.....dont believe it. Also a refund was never an option as far as they were concerned

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CREME DE LA CREME TO ANYONE!!!! I called three weeks prior to my event to order cake pops. Becca then told me the date was too far out and that I needed to call a few days prior to place my order. I then called them the Monday before my even (which was the following Sunday). Dave answered the phone and told me that they do not even make cake pops! He then gave the phone to Becca where she remembered talking with me and continued to place my order. I told her I was confused because Dave said that they didnt make cake pops. She chuckled and said, "Yes we do!" I then placed my order gave them my credit card number and hung up. I received a phone call from Julie, the manager, on Wednesday that week letting me know that they could not make my cake pops as they need more of a notice than a week. I became hysterical stating that I had called 3 weeks prior and was directed by their employee to call back a few days before my event. I also told her that I couldnt believe they waited until that Wednesday (now 4 days before my event) to call me. Who would take my order now? Well, nobody in the Riverside area could!! I had to place my order with Martha Greens in Redlands. Thank God for them! On top of everything, Julie, the manager, was the LEAST bit apologetic!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAKERY!!!!!

I love this bakery. My family gets pastries from this bakery at least once a week. I blame them for the extra pounds. Everything from their fresh breads, sandwiches and sweets are to die for. They have come a long way since their opening and we are glad to have them in the area. We are in definite need of establishments like this to try and make Riverside more up and coming vs. old honky tonk. Thank you. PS. Breakfast sandwiches and a fuller menu wouldnt be bad either.

I love, love, love this bakery. Literally one of a kind, great pastries, feels very family oriented. I want to say that for every one bad review theres 20 who didnt review because they loved it. Theres always gonna be someone whos bad experience sticks out to them. They have a croissant with blueberries and sweet cream and another croissant with strawberries and let me tell you it is to die for. Amazing!

I love fresh baked breads and sweet confections of every kind.. Ive always been greeted with a smile and various free samples at the Woodcrest Riverside location. As just a random visitor, Ive yet to walk away unhappily. I have never made orders for any occasion from this or any other location. Otherwise over all, I believe this is a place to try out for that fresh bakery local experience.

This is my first rating of anything on the computer ever. I find excuses to go this delicious new bakery near my home. They made the most beautiful custom cake for my daughters 8th birthday! It looked like something out of Carlos Bakery ("Cake Boss"). The sandwiches are divine and the shortbread melts in your mouth. Love it!

im sorry but this place has the WORST cupcakes ever. i went right when they opened and the cupcakes were disgusting. the actual cupcake tasted like one from a box you could buy at a grocery store and the frosting was practically inedible. i really wanted for them to do well since i know the owner.
