WORST PLACE TO ORDER WEDDING CAKE FROM Had two cake tastings to make sure we picked the right flavors for our wedding for Friday 04/07/17. We had one tasting around June 2016 and the other around Feb 2017. We even spoke with tasteful cakes at the bridal show at Eagle Glen in Feb of 2017. The day of our wedding, halfway through dinner, our coordinator approached us asking if we knew where the cake was. My bride and I were shocked to hear that the cake NEVER SHOWED UP! Our coordinator spoke with Tasteful Cakes on the phone and they told her that they, "didnt have any weddings scheduled for that day". Our coordinator ended up getting us a cake from Tasteful cakes delivered, but most of the guests had already left due to it being so late in the reception. I thank our coordinator for that, but it still wasnt our cake flavors that we had ordered MONTHS IN ADVANCED! When we went to Tasteful Cakes the following day to speak with a manager, a woman working there told us that it was their mistake and that they had filed our wedding in the June weddings! HOW DO YOU MESS THAT UP!? They offered to comp us two $20 gift certificates from tasteful cakes and would contact our venue to try and get us a refund. Update 5/1/17, Refund is being issued but it was still so disappointing to not have the cake delivered on time nor the original flavors we wanted. Hopefully this NEVER happens to anyone else on their wedding day.

Wow, maybe I got my order on a bad day... but I had special ordered a small cake for my husbands birthday. Specifically requested buttercream frosting... picked it up and it was beautiful. Took it home, cut into it, and it was horrendous. The frosting was whipped, which was obvious by the texture and the taste and the chocolate cake itself was nasty. I have young children who normally eat anything in sight and they actually turned this cake away. Disappointed, I emailed the shop immediately that night with a picture of the cake inside and offering to bring the cake back to them. I didnt even receive an apology.. all I got was "well, thats how our cakes are made" which I took as a "deal with it". Really? Ill stick to grocery store cakes over this shop ever again. Hopefully my experience is just one in a million.....

My husband ordered me a cake for my birthday and they were able to imitate my cake the way he envisioned it perfectly! I was very excited and surprised to receive it! BUT, the icing was terribly nasty! It was a plum-like color-bitter cream flavored and gross! Our hands were terribly stained and I could go on and on. BUT, when I personally went it to complain, the lady behind the counter was AWESOME!!!!! She understood that it was possible that the food coloring may have played a huge part in the unpleasant tase. Then as a courtesy, she offered me a wonderful slice of cake along with a complete store credit! With this credit I ordered my daughters birthday bake and my best friends birthday cake and I will remain a customer.....cant help it! The cakes are darn good!!! (Just keep the icing colors bright! lol)

Too overpriced. Dont try to place an order towards the end of the week or theyll nail you with an extra 20% charge on top of the overly priced miniature size cake just simply because theres 1 or 2 orders ahead of you. They also couldnt guarantee what type of filling would be available. When it came time to select the designs, I was told that I can pay the standard price + the 20% (I feel like ripping you off more charge) but the designs would be left up to them. If I wanted to select my own designs, I would have to pay double the price...oh and lets not forget, the 20% charge. Im sure the cake wouldve looked decent if not nice but whats the point of ordering a custom cake if you cant customize it. The cake designs they had were nice but definitely not worth the price tag.

I stopped in and bought a red velvet cake for me and my wifes anniversary. I paid $43 for it. I brought it home and we Each had a slice. I have to tell you this is probably the worst red velvet cake Ive ever had. It had absolutely no flavor aside from the frosting. I called and spoke to the manager Kaitlyn. And explained to her my experience with her cake. She responded by saying that she would be happy for me to come in and taste some other cakes and she would give me a voucher. As our conversation continued she determined that in her mind my complaint was based on a personal preference. I told her that no flavor does not constitute a personal preference. No flavor is no flavor. Stay away from this place the cakes suck.

Habe von Deutschland aus telefonisch eine Geburtstagstorte bestellt, und war von dem Service, der einfachen Abwicklung und der pünktlichen Lieferung begeistert. Die Leute sind überaus hilfsbereit und machen wirklich sehr sehr hübsche (und hab mir sagen lassen auch leckere) Torten! Empfehlenswert!

Absolutely love the cakes here. Best red velvet and cream cheese pastries/everything. Weve ordered our wedding cake, birthday cakes, baby shower cake, and of course we go in for our red velvet and cream cheese cupcakes. The customer service is amazing especially Patty, they will work with your budget. Highly recommend Tasteful Cakes. Our guest have fallen in love with the taste, texture, and of course design you all put into it the cakes. Thank you.

Such amazing quality. They were kind enough to do my wedding cake and.favors for me. I couldnt believe how delicious and beautiful they turned out! People at the wedding were begging me for their information, and the cake was a HUGE success. (The spice cake with pumpkin mousse was very popular). Everyone at the bakery went out of their way to make sure it was perfect, and Im forever grateful to them!

Absolutely love this place! Ordered 5 dozen cupcakes and a 10in. cake for my babyshower. The ladies in the shop were so helpful and friendly. They provided us with samples and I must say they have the best tasting cakes I have ever tasted! It was hard to pick flavors. The cakes were a hit at our babyshower, everyone loved them. I will definitely be going back to them!

Love the cake here. Ordered a simple birthday cake. Chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream frosting and filled with fresh strawberries and cream cheese. So worth it. Got help out to my car which was great because she secured the cake which traveled just fine to Hesperia. It looked beautiful and was moist and delicious. Highly recommend.

I have been ordering all my cakes here for the last 8 yrs, and have never been disappointed. We ordered cupcakes for my birthday chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse frosting FABULOUS. Getting ready to go order my Daughters birthday cake for May 1st. Thank you Tasty Cakes☺

Dont bother getting a groupon for 8" cake. I went in to order birthday cake with my groupon. Was told groupon didnt apply to all 8" cakes, only cakes in display case. Not what groupon coupon stated. Got refunded by Groupon, and will never go back to Tasteful Cakes again!
