This place stinks!! My husband and I went on 2 occasions, the first was to try it out for the very first time since we had seen it advertised on cable T.V. so much.... we had an awful experience. No one was at the hostess stand, a few servers saw us just standing there and totally ignored us. Finally a server came after about 5 minutes and sat us down. He was in a rush, he told us they were short staffed and he was running around doing everything. we sat in the patio section outside since the weather was nice, boy was that ever a mistake..... people were coming out there just to smoke and talk really loud and curse, they had no consideration for the people that were dining in that area. Very low class!!!!! Drinks were horrible!!! Unless you order beer or a smirnoff ice which comes already bottled and they cant do anything to it....these are the only drinks you cant go wrong with. The bartenders have no prior experience in mixology, awful, awful drinks. So a month or so after this experience we decided to go back and give it a second chance...what a bad mistake, was almost as bad as the first time. I ordered a Smirnoff Ice, because I already knew better! my husband ordered a strawberry mojito.. it was terrible!!!!!!!!!! Long story short, we will never go back there. Service is not up to par, food is mediocre, and drinks......need I say anymore? I hope management reads this and makes necessary corrections because this place is just a dive for biker locals and does not cater to more family style hospitality.

Restraunt by day, club? By night..... The meaning and actual execution of what a club used to be doesnt exist much anymore.... Although, music and drinks were good, its a horrible set up, flow, and vibe that is given at The Beach. Definitely use the place as a "get together with the guys/girls to hang and talk trash" night. Oh! And dont think youre going to walk up to security without ur ID ready..... They have a LINE of customers drooling to get in!! *Sarasm* By the end of the night, security is either off or trashed and throwin it down on the dance floor!! Hey now!

A very bad experience! My husband and I went for dinner and another patron was using racial slurs in clear view and earshot of the employees. After a couple of minutes we politely brought it to the attention of one of the owners and informed him that we were leaving for the obvious reason. They brought over our bill and we paid and left without having dinner. The offending patron was not asked to leave.Lack of action by the owner leads us to believe that this establishment apparently supports racism and bigotry.

I have eaten at the Beach about 10 times since they have opened! Love the place! Great food and very helpful and friendly staff! I dont drink alcohol so I cant tell you about the drinks, but the food is always served hot! Once, they did forget to put our order in, we waited about an hour for our meal to arrive, one of the owners came by and apologized over and over again, he gave us a free dessert! The waiter also apologized! Come on, they are humans not robots! Sometimes mix ups happen.

Best local spot in the neighborhood, and along with the Tristone theater, really helped bring The Spectrum back to life. The food is great, but the service and drinks could be better. If you want a good drink be very specific about how you would like it made. My personal recommendation; Loaded Bloody Mary, easy ice. If youre local and havent checked it out yet, do it. Youll find your new favorite watering hole.

Good food, a little overpriced. Took a little longer than it should have to get our lunch order on a Saturday with only five tables seated. Its the kind of place that serves you slow hoping you will drink more booze.. That can be great, but if you are just there for lunch and iced tea could be quicker.

Im from Long Beach and I was here with my daughter for a soccer tournament...we happened to fall upon this place and it was AMAZING! The food was excellent and the service was great. My only wish was that this establishment was closer to home!

I have been there twice and service atmosphere,staff and food has been great. Taco Tuesday is awesome! You need to get there before 5 - 5:30 otherwise you will probably have to wait to be seated - crowded.
