I have to say that usually I love Woodside Deli, but today was a really annoying experience for me, fist of all they have the "take a number " system, well the place wasnt busy at all but still I went and took a number, by the time the old lady behind the counter(and I mean the only old lady) because the other people were young, she asks what I want, Im telling her and all of the sudden the phone starts ringing, she goes and answers the phone and doesnt even let me know shes not taking care of my order, she just walks away and grabs the phone and takes the order so I wait for someone else to make my sandwich (which to tell you the truth, Im kind of relief cause I order from her before and I ended up eating what she thinks is good not what really order) but my surprise was when she hangs up the phone and she says: " Im going to need an idiot to figure out this order cause this guy was an idiot. Im sorry but as a customer I was shocked to hear this and really hope not to see this old lady there anymore, at least from now on Ill pass every time I have to order from her, she is rude and if she thinks the customers are idiots maybe she should find a different job.

I have been going here since birth, lol. I now travel 150+ miles to come here for their amazing Godfather sandwiches! The service is always friendly, I love their selection of specialty grocery items, their salads are delicious, and their deli meats and cheeses are beyond compare. To note: inhale deeply when you first enter the store for one of the best smells you will ever experience. Dont miss this place!! I wish I could get there more than a couple times a year, although I would probably weigh 500 pounds if I was any closer. ;)

Service is incredibly slow. I walked in and twenty minutes later I walked with a sandwich. It took them ten minutes to take my order. Ten minutes! Why cant they take orders quickly, so that you know that your place in line is set? The sandwich itself was very good. They have a great selection of drinks, chips and any italian appetizer that your heart may desire. The place has no seating area inside, and almost no seating outside, so plan on taking your order to go.

Woodside deli, is perfect. Not only are they the Masters behind their smoked turkey panini (The best sandwich Ive personally ever had), but opposite to the deli is a fully stocked Italian grocery store. This area, while quaint in square footage, holds some true culinary gems that you wont find many other places and has a massive selection of most Italian cooking nessecities. A definite must stop if youre a foodie.

Its better to order your sandwich ahead. If you go in at lunch time to get a sandwich it seems that more than 1/2 of the people working behind the counter are working on phone orders. Personally i think its better to take care of the people who actually took the time to walk into your store first. Plan to wait over 30 mins to get a sandwich in or around lunchtime.

Love their sandwiches! My fav is the Godfather. Multiple layers of Italian deli meats with pepperonci and slash of olive oil and vinegar. Tangy and meaty. Its big enough for me to split it into two meals for me. Also good place to get good Italian supplies. Carries the more esoteric dried pasta shapes, grains and beans too!

Sandwiches are great, but there is really no point in calling in your order. I have had to wait about 30 minutes for a phone order and then when I went in to pick up my sandwich they had me wait an extra 10 minutes because they hadnt started on my order yet..

Great sandwiches. Can be very crowded at lunch time. Do yourself a favor and call in your order ahead of time. Often overlooked is their Italian foods selection. Pastas., sauces, wines etc. All you need for a nice home cooked Italian meal.

You may wait a few minutes to be helped during peak lunch hours, but this is one of few delis in the area serving sandwiches that are well worth the price. As an NJ transplant my deli standards are pretty high and this place exceeds them.

Very slow service, hectic little place, guess this means some people enjoy their sandwiches. I tried the godfather and wasnt impressed, was literally just wads of different deli meats thrown between 2 slices of bread.

Awesome sandwiches! I recommend the Cuban! Its a panini so itll take a bit longer, so worth it though! If you want to order by phone for pickup, do it before 11am!
