Our third time there, and we still like it just as much. Great ambience, love the furnishings, decor, heat lamps – not to mention the view of the tidy marina so close, you can almost touch it. This time I ordered the Berger, which was freshly made From ground beef, not a pre-packaged frozen patty. The waiter was accommodating, and all the customizations at the table came out just as requested – no hitches among the five of us, nor the previous party of seven when I enjoyed the eggs Benedict. Yum. On another occasion a friend and I sat indoors for brunch, and I had the waffle-- which was so tasty and flavorful, with fresh strawberries on the side, that I was not even tempted by the maple syrup, except for the last bite just to check it out. While on the pricier side, definitely worth it especially when we get have guests from out of town and want to give them a flavor of the area.

We stayed at the Shade for the weekend and stopped by the dining room twice, once for midafternoon snack and once for the complimentary breakfast. Cocktails were well portioned, good beer selection. We tried the lobster roll and mushroom pizza. Coming from New York, Ive had better but they both hit the spot. Service was thoughtful but a bit slow, however when they burnt our first pizza it never made it to the table and they took it off the bill - a sign of good line mangement. For breakfast, the offerings were filling but if you arent a fan of lox the protein is lacking - the other option is a bread basket? Both are served with parfaits, fruit cups and the option of coffee or tea. Overall, I would recommend to a friend. The views of the marina are worth making a stop.

Not sure how people say the food is good. Salmon was not good and is farm raised which is a disgrace for any restaurant charging their prices. The burger was horrible. Asked for medium rare and they bring out a well done burger that tasted like a Carls Jr $6 burger. Waiter was nice. Food was low quality. Extremely disappointing and will never be back.

I dont normally get emotional about how good my food is, but the hamachi, roasted squash and burrata, spicy tuna on crispy rice were AMAZING. Sitting next to the dock was really nice and our server was very cool. This is my new favorite place to eat. I had the sea bass for dinner and I climaxed.

Great place. View of the marina. Outdoor seating is great with wifi. Valet parking was $3 for the restaurant, which is great. Food: the chicken sandwich was spectacular and the Mahi Mahi tacos looked great. Get the chocolate dessert, its amazing. Recommended place.

Nice restaurant to enjoy the outdoors, had paper straws which I thought was wonderful, should have that for every drink, using a lot of outdoor heaters during the day was not comfortable or sustainable. Loved the succulent wall.

Good service, great food, waterfront view... what else do you want? No kids menu (yet), but they will were more than willing to create something custom for my kids. Nice casual environment, and free WiFi.

Cozy atmosphere with great menu and food! Right beside the harbor. Little ocean view from here as the harbor boats cover a very large area on the seaside.
