I love everything about this place. The ingredients, the decor, the staff, the service. This place is intimate maybe about 12 seats in the entire place, Denise is fantastic always attentive as is the staff Ruthie and the guys. Although its located at the Beverly Hills Hotel there are mainly locals and long time guests of the hotel. There are some locals or members only secretes that I will not disclose on here :) It is said that Elizabeth Taylor grew up hanging out there as her dad owned an art gallery a few steps from the shop. Must try: ORANGE/GRAPE FRUIT FREEZE. So delicious specially on a hot summer LA day. McCARTHY SALAD. Delicious request a grilled jalapeño MARY J. BLIGE PIE. This is a secret pie that is not on the menu it is not always available but, do ask for it. The recipe was given to the chef by Mary J Blige so the legend goes. Its amazingly delicious.

Thee BEST breakfast! Their silver dollar pancakes are delicious! I eat breakfast there every time Im in LA. The service is great as always. Never had a problem there. The only thing is that its not your usual restaurant seating. Everyone is pretty cramped together, but overall I LOVE this place.
