I recently visited this Redondo Beach location after some time that it had been on my radar of new places to try. Located on a shopping center, you have a whole lot of parking available at any time of the day, the restaurant itself has a very nice outdoor eating area with tables and umbrellas to enjoy the sun and nice fresh air. I notice there was a few people sitting there enjoying their meals and had their dog with them, so you can definitely bring your dog along too if you like. Walking in to the restaurant, you see a very modern and colorful decorations all around, with a walkway to direct you to the food area where a very friendly staff member greats you and asks what you would like to have. Since it was my first time visiting, I asked what was recommended. The gentleman suggested the seasonal duck tacos or the chimichanga. I when with 3 tacos with duck meat, braised with Asian and Mexican spices, I topped it off with Jicama, Mango, Cilantro and Onions. There was few other toppings they suggest to go with the duck, like siracha mole sauce and cucumbers although I skipped on those. I absolutely enjoyed the duck! The combination of toppings and the flavor of the meat was perfect and delicious! I would suggest to keep the duck and not only have it seasonal. The staff was very helpful and friendly to take the time to tells us about items and menu question we had. very helpful when it was our first time and get some guidance on what to pick. The room was very well decorated with tones of red and small cactus on the tables that made a nice accent. Near the soda fountain there was some more decorative plants hanging that made for nice look. Overall i highly recommend you guys try Ocho and their many menu items. Ask for what is been served that is seasonal and make a choice of what to pick based on what you are in the mood for and whats new and available.

100% yes! This brand new Ocho is well placed in the Redondo Shores Shopping Center. Beautiful space inside with friendly and helpful staff taking care of you. They have incredible specials - the day I visited they had duck tacos and a special chimichanga, which I ordered. Amazingly delicious and delivered to our table! Great service and a great meal. The place was hopping, with a broad range of visitors. There is both inside and outside seating, giving you options on how you want to sit and enjoy your meal. I enjoyed sitting inside and experiencing some wonderful air conditioning! If youre in Redondo and craving some good Mexican food, hit Ocho. Do it. Pro tip - ask about the specials. The staff are fantastic and will take their time explaining the options to you.

1st time customer. Ordered online via ChowNow hoping for delivery. The flyer didnt mention a $15 minimum. I should have known I guess. Reset it to pickup as they are down the street. The email said it would take 1 hour. For a bowl?? The food was lukewarm and the employee offended by my inquiry of how long the food was sitting. Food: 4.25 stars (had a fatty piece of carnitas) Online ordering: Confusing so 2 stars

this place is phenomenal called for take out spoke to the sweetest person jennifer who helped answer all my question. and the food was her in less than 20 minutes and absolutely delicious. Great portions too. not exaggerating this is the best take out choice I have made. Thanks Jennifer,

From someone thats lactose intolerant, these Ocho Mexican Grill Redondo Beach where worth the pain afterwards. Freshly made tortilla made infront of you with your selection of meat and salsas to add to enhance the flavor. My favorite was the chicharrón con salsa verde inside of it.

I ate here for the first time today. Delicious! For under $10 I had the shrimp burrito in a bowl. You get lots of shrimp and other stuff you select buffet style. The employees were nice and the restaurant is clean.
