Experiences at Top Wok tend to vary by the individual. And sometimes there are days where the food isnt as good as the usual. But give them a break, they arent a chain restaurant, and they can be described as a hole in the wall. Take it from someone whos been going there for years now. The food is delicious and is probably one of the best places for Chinese Food in San Pedro. And Ive never, nor have any of my friends or family ever gotten sick from eating there. I say definitely give Top Wok a second chance if you were put off by it at first. And try their orange chicken or house special lo mein. Yes they are a little on the pricey side, but the prep work that goes into Chinese food is strenuous so I dont mind paying them a little more for that. If you order online for delivery you can get a big meal for one person a little under $20 which includes a 20% tip and a delivery fee. If prices are still an issue for you, try and order at lunch time, with their lunch time specials. Overall Top Wok isnt a perfect Chinese restaurant, but the staff and food is real, and Ive enjoyed almost every meal Ive had there. Totally would recommend to anyone.

I enjoy pretty much every kind of food, flavors and meat or whatever it is, so I am not picky like that... Give the cream cheese wontons a try, those were great the last time I ate there! I also enjoy the kung pao chicken the most but havent tried too many dishes here as of yet. The orange chicken, spring rolls and fried rice are decent. I do think this is the best place in town to grab some chinese though. Too bad there werent more around that were great! The service seems to be good and it seems like a good idea to order about an hour before you want it delivered. enjoy - E

I like the food, the walnut shrimp is excellent, that is my favorite, I tried few of the menu items and all of them was good, tasty, always hot, and the most important thing all the foods tastes different not one bland flavor.

Asian food is my favorite and this was by far the worst I have ever had. Pu Pu platter was terrible. Everything was way over fried. Very disappointing. Wasted $40.
