By far the worst place ever! Im not usually the one who writes bad reviews but for this one I just had too. I went with my coworkers for lunch and ordered a caeser wrap and fries. The fries tasted old and my caesar wrap didnt have any dressing i was willing to keep my food as is all I wanted was dressing for my wrap. So I went to ask for dressing the old man got mad and said he put some in my wrap and if I wanted more i would get charged for it. When I asked why should I get charged an extra 80 cents when the food is already over priced and it wasnt my fault they didnt put any dressing he got all mad and started yelling at me! Really youre going to yell at a customer?? I wasnt going to mention my fries tasting old but since he gave me attitude I mentioned they tasted old, so he grabbed my fries with his bare hands and put them in the pot to refry them. The old man and the cashier kept yelling at me to go sit down and of course I wasnt going to go sit down, the man just touched my food without any gloves or without washing his hand and seeing the anger and how he was pointing at me I was afraid they will spit on my food or something worse. After getting yelled at 3 or 4 times because I refuse to sit down while they "fix my food" I asked for my money back. The lady quickly changed her toned and said honey we are just trying to serve you just go sit down we will take it to your table. Really? Serve me when you and your coworker yelled at me just because I asked for dressing? They told me to never go back and asked for my name, they dont have to worry about it I will NEVER EVER go back to some rude people that cant handle food properly. Thank god I got to see what they were doing to my food before I ate it and got sick. I really hope they didnt give my food to someone else just so they wouldnt waste and loose money.

What a surprise - wish we discovered RCoC sooner! PARKING: Street. You could park at Paseo, but dont forget to self validate. FOOD: -Chicken filet with mushroom sauce: My chicken breast came with a side of zucchini, rice, and mashed potatoes. Portion size is almost enough for two meals for me (I eat multiple times per day i.e. smaller meals). The mushroom sauce was packed full of fresh mushrooms, and the brown sauce had a nice earthy mushroom flavor. SERVICE: Our waiter was incredibly nice and personable. When Alek slightly hesitated when ordering the japanese mustard dressing on his salad, the waiter was nice enough to assume that Alek didnt know what japanese mustard was (he didnt) and specifically asked for it on the side. SO considerate! He really elevated our dining experience to the next level. TIP: -Think of this as a dine-in version of Zankou, but much higher quality. Well be back!

We have been customers since they were located down by PCC. They have moved twice and it is still better than ever! You will never get a cold entree and the owner is the chef that pretty much cooks every dish special. They are the friendliest family that own this restraunt. Please try the 32 flavor Chicken. It just falls off the bone. The potatoe cake and zucchini are incredible to the tastebuds. There are 3 different homemade sauces that are on your table and each have a different level of heat and taste to your main dish. Then you have to try the home made plum ice cream! Fantastic and just the perfect ending to an amazing dinner. Very reasonable price for exceptional QUALITY food. Even the iced tea is amazing. Thanks for staying in business! Rachel Gilbert

Lets start by saying the service is excellent. We are promptly greeted and invited to sit while looking over our many tasty options for dinner. My wife and I are light eaters so we now get a meal to share as they are large enough to feed back in my garage days. The chicken is always moist whether dark or light meat and the seasoning/ sauces are delicious. The rice is perfect and I always try to barter for a little more share of potatoes. Look forward to sharing this Pasadena gem with more friends and family.

We found out about this place about a year ago, and ever since, we have always ordered lunch takeout from here at least twice a week. The Rotisserie chicken is very juicy, and it tastes so good together with the hot sauce!!! The food is healthy and still taste fantastic; its great for modern day healthy eating! I hope the soup menu is available during lunch :). I highly recommended this place!

Want juicy, fall off the bone rotisserie chicken? Lace of your sneakers and run directly to Rotisserie Chicken of California! This family owned restaurant is a no frills kind of place where the flavor of the food trumps the simple decorated walls. Skip the mashed potatoes and order fries instead. Dont forget to order a salad. It is a very simple salad, but the secret sauce is truly a delight.

Worst service ever but great chicken. Remember Seinfeld episode of the soup Nasi, if not dial that in. My wife and I have followed them for years , the owner staff and attitude gets worse every year but we still go. When dining their do not have any expectations and you wont be disappointed. This should be CHICKEN NAZZI ROTISERIE lol....

Great variety of dishes based around a classic protein: chicken. Ingredients are fresh and flavors are nicely fused. Service is fast, smiling and helpful. Portions are big but not extravagant. Be warned that the place is small and demand during lunch hours in working days might keep you from being seated immediately.

While all the food looks fine in this rushed, cramped, warm, soda by the can, chicken oriented restaurant, Ive only tried the enchiladas. They are wonderful. Each time I go back, they are the only thing I order. Other people seem happy with the other dishes, but I doubt Ill ever know...great enchiladas.

Been going to this place for years! My favorite is their chicken breast cutlet with curry. That curry sauce is the bomb!!! Pair the rice with their hot sauce and youre in heaven!! Their salads are fresh and crisp and the homemade ranch dressing is refreshing! Love, love ,love this place!!

Food was Great! Service I thought was alright until we were put to a corner next to the door when theres plenty of seats around. Kinda felt forced to buy the biggest meal you can buy. Other wise great!

This place has been in Pasadena for oh.. 20 years or so. The owners are Japanese so the sauces used in the chicken dishes have hints of what you might have at a Japanese restaurant
