The ambiance got me first; its a place that says, "Hi, Im thriving, healthy and friendly." Met friends from out of town who had new baby. Place bounced with young mothers and babes, young people, thirty-somethings. Im older, just widowed, and I loved the upbeatness of this place. Pasadena Sandwich was awesome, and coffee good. A wee bit pricey for my budget, but my budget is sparse. I loved the design - it encourages openness, lightheartedness and friendship. Great place for writers to go. Its crowded. If I went on regular basis, Id try for a quieter time. Went back New Years Day with a friend. Her stuff was a disaster, but mine was terrific. They are relatively new, and I assume they have a few kinks to work out. They should have offered my friend comp something or other, and more than "Thank you for your comments," but still I liked their place. Owned by a couple who worked with an architect. Wonderfully designed, textures, images, all unified producing a thrive friendliness, clean too. I wish them well; loved the people who hung out. We are all trying to make it through the day or night - and Lavender and Honey is a bright spot to do so.

Coffee from Coffee Klatch and bread from Bread Lounge what can go wrong?- Lavender & Honey is a great addition to the culinary scene of the adenas. My favorite is the "Pasadena" - simple as it seems - Scandivanian style sandwich with avocado and red jalapeno - cant get more basic and simple as that. BUT!!!!!! I am here to tell you L & H has elevated this to an amazing treat. My only negative comment would about how hard it can be to get a place to sit. I find a few patrons are displaying some "imperialistic" behavior and use chairs for their belongings when there are patrons trying to find a place to enjoy their treats.

The honeybee latte is delicious! The servers/baristas are nice, the area is clean, and the food is good. It does get busy at times but what good coffee shops doesnt? I would definitely recommend that you at least try this place out, especially if your a local. We need more places like this around the north Pasadena/Altadena area in my opinion. And if its not you cup of coffee (lol see what I did there...), the worst that can happen is your out $5-15 (depending on if you just get coffee or coffee and a sandwich) for the misadventure. Sounds like a low risk high reward proposition to me, but you be the judge.

I enjoyed my visit to this coffee shop while I was treating a friend from Canada who was staying with relatives in the neighborhood. I had a tasty, heated veggie mozzarella sandwich, my friend had a roast beef sandwich. When I placed my order, I was told that they would call me to pickup when ready. But they were kind enough to bring my food to the outdoor table without annoyingly announcing my name; that to me is good customer service.

Such a clean fresh happy vibe here. All sorts of people enjoying the food and the space. Equal mix of solo diners along with pairs so I didnt feel out of place eating alone and reading. My Italiano & French Lavender Lemonade were just as good as Id hoped. I only wish that they garnished my Lemonade with a sprig of Lavender. The service was fast and friendly and the patrons equally as delightful. I will return!

Love all their drinks. I highly recommend the cortado and the french lavender breve. Their toasts are also great and fun to sample for just $3 each. Kids will love their hot chocolates, Theyre served at kid temperature and have different flavors to choose from. They also have quality pastries. Its a cute little shop that serves great coffee and yummy snacks.

Not bad, Not bad at all... Aside from the honey dripping all over my hands and looking like Pooh Bear..I throughly enjoyed my LT toast which was a light goat cheese with honey and Lavender on top. It was pretty darn delicious and the Honeymee which was made without sugar and purely with just espresso and a bit of milk was perfect. Not overly sweet and yummy!

This is a must place to visit when youre in Pasadena. The lavender brave latte (offered both hot and iced) is one of the best drinks this place has to offer. The Croissant sandwiches that you can customize to your taste buds are to die for. They have both outdoor and indoor seating available. The service is great and the food comes out pretty fast .

Wow! This is a greasy study spot on the Altadena/Pasadena border. I have yet to try the coffee but the TOAST. You get one toast covered in locals jams and cheese. I recommend the kicking goat or the Pasadena. They have wifi, a parking lot, and outside seating. The only downside is the space is very small. Nice way to connect with people in the community.

When I was a kid in the 80s this was the location of a very nice tailor and garment store. It makes me so happy that my grandmothers neighborhood is under going a hipster fuel Renaissance. The coffee is strong and the pastries are great. Support a small business and spend the morning or afternoon here.

Delicious. My friend got the espresso and proceeded to put in 3 sugar packets. Shes from out of the town, so I will forgive her. Lavender and Honey is a trendy coffee shop and has a great vibe. Shout out to Becky (one of the cashiers), shes awesome and always smiling.

Love this place! the staffs are welcoming and the sandwich tastes light and great! I was here for brunch and a sip of caffeine, and it didnt let me down. They got indoor and outdoor seats, it never gets too crowded or noisy, good for a book-reading or self-refreshing.

Convenient location and tasty drinks, but I wish there was more seating. It gets busy and then theres no place for everyone to hang out. The bathroom is outdoors and the key was lost. The employees all seemed very confused about a simple request as bathroom access.

I honestly love this place! Great coffee (which is the main and most important reason) but I have to say their sandwiches are amazing. They are indeed a bit pricey but it is not easy to taste quality in a bite these days. I specially recommend the Italian.

L+H is so cute and a staple up in north Pasadena. Definitely my favorite place north of 210. Cozy space, local goods, healthy options, Klatch Coffee beans... Order the Anna for a great secret menu option (brown sugar latte), and their cortado is great too.

In a great location with easy breezy parking when we went today (Thursday early afternoon). Looking forward to trying other drinks there while enjoying the sun in their patio. Plus, frequent flyer card is a punch per drink vs a punch per order. Love that!
