I have been wanting to try this place for a while, so I was stoked to get to try it. The set up of the place is fast casual meets pub- very unique. I walked up to the counter and ordered my favorite- chicken club sandwich, sweet potato fries and a diet coke (because i love Diet Coke.) The chicken club came to me and I expected the usual deli sliced chicken, basic club sandwich. What I got was a sandwich with whole pieces of chicken on it, fresh tasting avocado, and overall delicious sandwich. The sweet potato fries were amazing and sitting at your table is a shaker of seasoned salt so you can season it to your taste- super rad. They advertise that their beef is hormone free, which is brilliant, but they advertise their chicken as "fresh," which doesnt really mean anything. I would be interested to know what they mean by "fresh,"- is it free range? Hormone free? I want to know! Overall, great spot, great service and I would definitely go again.

Had the Hickory Burger with onion rings and a lemonade and it was delicious. Super friendly atmosphere and the service was great. The food was fresh and well seasoned and honestly for the price I will keep coming back to try the chicken sandwich and maybe one of those tempting shakes. My friend got the Bistro Burger with the sweet potato fries. The Bistro was really good but Im glad I got the onion rings instead of the fries, kinda forgettable. Do yourself a favor and try this place. The taste will draw you in and the price will keep you coming back, already planning my next visit.

Fresh food, clean facilities and very friendly staff make for a wonderful dining experience. All of the burgers (and really all of their entrees) are large and stuffed with veggies, cheese and excellent condiments. Their Trio platter of French fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings is a favorite as are their various shakes. Prices are on the higher end of fast casual dining, but the quality ingredients and large portions definitely make the prices understandable. Good family environment, and good selection of beers.

Great food, very friendly staff, nice design, just everything about this place is well done. Probably the best gourmet hamburger joint in the Pasadena area. Similar yet better than the Habit. The decor is very creative with cast concrete and massive wood beams and nice lighting. Been there many times and the staff is fantastic. The burgers are first rate and the other sandwiches are unusual and excellent. The ahi tuna, the caprese . . . just wonderful. Prices very good and they have beer and wine too. Perfect.

Good place to get a burger and beer for lunch. Really good beef, and the patty comes out nice and thick with just a bit of pink. I dont know if you can get it rarer than medium-well but the meat is still juicy and flavorful. Feels a bit more upscale than some other burger places in the area, and although its a pretty small space is comfortable and attractive inside.

The staff was friendly enough (if a little overbearing). The food looked fine when it came out. However, when we bit in we found the burger well done. It had all the tenderness and flavor cooked out of it, and no amount of chipotle mayo or basil aoli could save what was a terribly prepared burger. Save the heartache (and $4) and go to In-N-Out instead.

Despite a small nuance of getting an occupied room the first time, the staff was outstanding and right away fixed the problem and also gave my boyfriend and I vouchers to get free breakfast in the morning (very tasty breakfast indeed!!!). Overall the room was huge and had a lot of free space and all the space is used wisely...

This is THE BEST burger I have ever had. The quality and flavor of meat is incredible. Favorite burger place, hands down. Trust me, you will be suprised a burger can taste even better than what youve already had (cause burgers are already great!). Id give this place 10 stars if I could.

This place is always compared with thr habot grill. To me there is no comparison because the habit is greasy and these burgers are good, lean, and moist. The toppings on them are amazing and there is lots of variety. The staff is also very friendly and always pleasant.

If youre in the neighborhood, hungry, and craving a burger that isnt fast food... come here over The Habit. Its a little bit more expensive, but I think its worth it. If you want to drive a bit, there are certainly better burgers, but these are not bad at all.

This is one of my go to places. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and the management is fantastic. Eddie always goes above and beyond for the customers. The food is very tasty and I highly recommend the turkey chili and the mini sliders.

Im not normally someone who goes crazy over red meat, hamburgers especially...I was shocked at how blown away I was by their insanely delicious hamburgers! They have made me a "hamburger person" for life! As long as its from the Hook that is!

Order came out in timely matter and decor is great. I like the atmosphere here and staffs keep the store clean all the time. My only complaint would be the burger gets overcooked a bit and meat isnt as tender as it could be.

I was just there. I ordered the prime burger. It was horrible! !! The chef felt the need to overwhelm the burger with SALT!!! It was sooooo salty. Its my second time here. I dont think Im coming back.

Great experience, I went today for lunch with a group of co-workers and they didnt mess up one item and my sandwich was delicious. The chicken was a little hard to bite but the flavor was good.

Our favorite is the turkey burger and Cobb salad. Ive been coming here as lot and rarely get overcooked meat. If I did find a mistake or dry meat, they gladly correct it.
