As a displaced former resident of both NJ and IL, pizza and sandwiches are a sensitive topic for me. The pizza here is good. Not great, but decent. I dont say that often. For now, they have won my business till I find something better, presuming im in the mood for ny-style. I tried a combination (pepperoni, sausage, olive mushroom and something else...) and a shrimp pesto pizza. Both were pretty good though if I go back ill probably get lesser toppings. One thing ive noticed about all ny style pizzas here (ie, not in ny) is their crusts just arent quite right. The problem is made worse by the grease in the toppings which saturates the thiner crusts. I dont really know why this never seems an issue out east... but i definitely notice this across the board here in CA. That said, this crust held up well, but still suffered the problem. Their prices are great relative to the food volume, and it feels like a ny pizza place, small cozy and not really meant for you to stay in. Consider calling ahead and getting it to go. A pie takes about 10-15min to cook up.

Another imposter. Pros: Huge slices Great location Clean Cons: Expensive Not quite the real deal I see pizza places claiming to have New York pizza all the time out West. When I came in here to order a plain and a pepperoni slice and the cashier told me it would be $11.38, I had to ask him if that was correct. He said yes. I immediately knew this place was not the real deal. Great pizza in New York is about $3 a slice. Granted, this is Palo Alto so I get it, but $5 for a slice of cheese?! Come on! When the slices came out, I was impressed by their size. They are HUGE. I wished I had only ordered one instead of two. See my reference photo. But still, it just isnt as thin as New York pizza. Too much cheese, too. Classic mistake. I will say the taste of the dough was pretty spot on, though. Overall, just another meh pizza joint claiming to be the real thing.

The cashier was friendly but the pizza I got was low quality. I order personal pizza and spicy wings. The wings were reheated in the oven. I was sick and heavy after the meal. I also was very thirsty after the meal.I ate some pizza and couple wings which I was wandering if they are really natural. Somethings not right. They was also very big. Another thing the cashier which was touching money and computer was also touching preparing the pizza (not mine but another client) with out washing hands. I have pictures. That was the worse meal I had for long time.

The only thing New York about the pizza is the picture or the statue of liberty on the box. I ordered an extra large, half Hawaian, half Mexican, both are on their menu by way. The Hawian side had pineapple, ham, pepperoni, and some sausage. The Mexican side had pepperoni and jalapeno peppers. There was not supposed to be any sausage but there was supposed to be ground beef on the Mexican side. But what would expect from a handful of half drunk or high 20 something "men" working in a pizza parlor.

New York Pizza may have just jumped the ranks to my favorite pizza joint in Palo Alto this weekend. We were having friends over for a few beers before going out and needed an easy dinner. We called for delivery and decided on a large half combo and half mushroom and sausage and a order of buffalo wings. Delivery was prompt and easy. The pizza was still hot and the pizza itself was delicious! Id like to try some pasta in another occasion. I highly recommend .

100% authentic Crispy thin crust with fresh toppings and savory house made Mariana Sauce. This place is genuine New York pizza and Ive tried East Coast pizza SO Im super picky. Fresh ingredients and excellent customer service. I forgot to order side of ranch dressing and my driver ended up brining some cause he knows I always order it. Amazing moms and pops pizza joint with great prices and FREE Delivery!!! Try them you wont regret it! ❤

I work in Palo Alto. My coworkers order from new york pizza at least once a week for our staff meetings. The pizza is excellent, especially the veggie thin crust!!! They are always on time with the delivery and have a smile on their face. I highly recommend them for your next staff meeting or when you are just craving a slice of new york.

We frequent this spot because of variety, quality and affordability. However last nights pizza was not what we are used to getting from them. New management seemed to be doing good things to improve the place, I just hope skimping on the pizza isnt going to be one of them. Come on guys we know you can do better!

New York Pizza never fails to provide amazing service and quality food. The employees are very attentive to any questions you ask or instructions you give them. The pizzas always taste fresh and tasty, and delivery is fast! I would definetely reccomend this place to anyone in the area craving quality pizza!

Ive ordered from this place many times but for some reason tonight they completely forgot my order. Ive just waited over two hours for my food to be delivered and nothing... I tried calling and no one picked up. Completely unprofessional. Wont be ordering from these guys ever again

Pizza isnt bad but the have a "company policy" that they will not deliver to east palo alto after dark. I asked why and they said its just a policy. I dont think thats right either deliver or dont its obviously discriminating

Ordered for a delivery and they took 50 min to leave the store and then as I was talking to the "manager" he hung up on me. Very unprofessional and Im still hungry with no pizza.
