This is definitely not what we (my fiancee and I) expected when we ran into this place. In a good way though. Let me explain. We were looking for a Vietnamese place to eat but all the places we found near here were closed. We didnt want to leave the area and were starting to get hungry. I suggested pizza and we saw the shop as we past it. Once we parked, we walked into the place. It was a little small and quaint but we werent fazed by it. We asked the staff how big the pizzas were (like most people probably) and decided to order just one slice apiece. The staff was really nice and had great service. The price was pretty decent as well for how pizza goes. They had a multitude of toppings available as well (Im a plain ole pepperoni guy and she likes mushrooms). I thought they were kidding when they said their slices were as big as they were. This pizza was the cheesiest pizza I think Ive ever had. But man, it was pretty scrumptious. We must have been pigs that night because we ordered 2 slices each. Afterwards, we were way to full to do much. We just waddled to the car and drove back to the hotel that night. Great place to go for pizza and price.

THINK BIG! He slices are huge and the King Kong pizza is massive! The crust is the perfect combination of crispy, and chewy. The marinara sauce is straight from a New York kitchen! And they load the pizza with fresh toppings. I LOVE the Combination: it has the perfect taste. And they make very savory Ranch dip sauce that I love to always enjoy. dont forget to also try their chicken wings. Super crispy and meaty!

Friends and I came here for our Downtown Pizza Chow Down to check out all the downtown pizza places in San Mateo. This was our first stop and also rated the best. We ordered pizza by the slice. These are HUGE slices (two separate actually) and theyre delicious. Great thin crust, great cheese and great toppings. You can also order just about any kind of pizza you want. Our group rated it a 9 overall. It was just great!

On a business trip and had too much work to go out and eat, ordered from New York Pizza and let me tell you that I wish I had one in my neighborhood! The pizza was excellent and the Philly was the bomb! Quick delivery and accurate order, thanks for making my trip that much more fun.

I stopped at New York pizza San Mateo this afternoon for lunch and ask for Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo with comes with a delicious garlic bread , Perfect pasta, good price, nice service, friendly staff, fast and very clean place, I loved it and I certainly recommend this place.

Very disappointed. First time trying this place out. Had to wait a little over an hour for delivery. When it finally arrived it was just horrible. It wasnt even warm. Had to reheat it in the oven myself. And it really sucks because it had such great reviews. Smh.

Great service, HUGE slices made to order. 7 minute wait to have a slice the way I want it is well worth it. Give them a try if you are in the San Mateo Down town, Take your friends over and order their King Kong size pizza.
