We were excited to have dinner here because the reviews that we read were great. The restaurant is located right on El Paseo Drive on the top level of an upscale shopping center. It has open air seating on the second level facing El Paseo Drive, so its a great spot to people watch. The place was very busy on the Thursday night that we visited. We had bacon wrapped dates and baked scallops on the 1/2 shell for appetizers. The dates were good, tasty and a nice mixture of salty & sweet with the bacon. The baked scallops were just OK. You really couldnt get the flavor of the scallops because it was drowning in sauce. The only flavor that came through was parmesan. For our entrees, my wife had swordfish and I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. The swordfish was average, nothing spectacular. The Chilean Sea Bass was supposedly one of their signature dishes. It had a nice honey soy glaze with sesame seeds, ginger sticky rice and bok choy. My piece was slightly undercooked towards the center. The part of the Sea Bass that was cooked was good. Ive had other similar dishes that had more flavor. One nice thing about Pacifica is that they allow you to select smaller portions of their main meals. Our waitress and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Service was excellent. Our overall impression of this restaurant is one of being above average, not outstanding. Not sure if we caught them on a night where they were too busy, but weve had better meals at other restaurants.

I go to Pacifica whenever I want to impress a colleague or sometimes I just take my yorkie to the outside seating for 5 pm wine and Ahi Tower. Recently took my folks there and my finicky mother loved her Crab Louis, which came with a dressing not unlike the traditional Thousand Island but far more elegant and sophisticated. All five of us were happy with our dinners that night. You can always count on fresh fish, and their fish and chips are also very good... crispy but light. One of the reasons I keep coming back is the acoustics. I can have a conversation with my friend/colleague and not compete with music, other conversation or clatter from the kitchen. Been going there for years, and will continue to.

I met with friends for a light dinner at Pacifica. The food is OK. I had a caprese salad that was very ordinary. At least the tomatoes were fresh. Then I ordered the half dozen scallops in the small plate/appetizer section. First of all, I only got five scallops, on five half shells! The scallops were tiny bay scallops in what I thought was an overly rich sauce. My friend said they used to serve the big, meaty sea scallops, but apparently not anymore.Thank goodness there was that good sourdough bread from the bread basket to absorb some of that heavy sauce. All in all, it was not a great meal, and too expensive for what was served.

Loved it! Great atmosphere, excellent food and at a fair price compared to other high-end restaurants. I had the salmon and my dining partner had the small lobster. Both beautifully prepared, both tasty. We sat outside and over-looked El Paseo, the deserts Rodeo Drive. You can dine inside or out. Attentive service. Plus if you arrive early, you can take advantage of some early bird specials. They include 3 courses, starting with choice of salad. The dates wrapped in bacon appetizer is delicious! Ask for some sour dough bread too. Its delicious.

Decor is kinda cheesy, but what you would expect for the typical Palm Beach fake tan / Tommy Bahama/ retiree hangout. Food was very good and well served, but there was an extra $18 charged to my credit card, and when I called the manager, he claimed that every restaurant charged 20% more, just in case the client would like to leave a tip on the card and since the charge was still pending it would go down to the agreed amount once it settled. WHAT???? Id already left a healthy cash tip! Wont go back...

We had high expectations, which were not met. The service was interminably slow and the waiter was not particularly friendly. I had ahi tuna which was ok-ish but not particularly fresh. The little potato cakes were overcooked and very hard. My wife had the sea bass which, while the flavour was good, was overcooked so a little mushy, plus it had some sort of coconut flavoured sauce which detracted from the fish flavour rather than supported it. Too bad! Maybe it was just an off night.

Ordered the Maine Lobster. First time there and probably the last unfortunately. The dish was about $50 and for spending that amount on a dish, it absolutely was not worth it. The lobster was tough and had no seasoning what so ever. I got about half way through a portion and called the quits. Our server decided we didnt need the best service because we didnt order any alcohol. From arrival to exit, our server came to our table maybe twice. Definitely wouldnt recommend for dinner.

Celebrated our anniversary at Pacifica and found it to be outstanding in all regards! Wonderful location with high quality food, service and management oversight. We were visited by both the GM and shift manager thanking us and congratulating our anniversary. Later, we were gifted with ice cream cake gratis. My wife had best swordfish ever and lobster was perfect...Do NOT pass up the opportunity to dine here!

We have been enjoying the food and atmosphere at Pacifica for years. Recently our visits have been enhanced by the presence of Manager, Dave Garvey, who really made our visit feel more personal. Thank you Dave, for the very pleasant experience tonight! Oh, and yes, thank you for the rush to get the door as we were leaving was a wonderful touch!!! We will be back!!!!!

Amazing service, quality cooking and presentation, fantastic food and the perfect low-key decor make this restaurant a perfect selection for a party, a date, or just an all-around enjoyable, filling night. I smacked my lips for days after my birthday party here. We had a party of seven, and the service and food was amazing. Well worth the visit!

Eh. Pretty mediocre. Slow. I wouldnt eat here if you had some other options. Food is just okay. Nothing special. If you want to eat something delicious, dont come here. Also, we found a rubber band in our food. They said it happens relatively often. And they didnt really care that much. Comped the fish, but not apologetic.

Happy hour is the best in the desert, vodka bar is extensive and the apps are delicious. If you like vodka, go with the Christiana. If you dont like vodka, you are in the wrong place ie: vodka bar. The raw oysters are from the Pacific north west, theyre huge, sweet and not to be missed. The prawns tempura are another hit.

Great seafood restaurant in the mall. The crab cakes, ahi tuna sandwich, shrimp scampi fettuccine were all great! Prices arent too expensive if you consider the quality of the meal youre getting. Service was attentive! Overall, a great place to rest and grab a bite to eat to hide out from the scorching heat!

While the desert might not be the optimum place to look for a seafood restaurant, this one is one of the finest. The fish was fresh and imaginatively prepared. There is a wide choice of seafood, which should satisfy every taste. A bonus is that the prices are reasonable. Also, there is a good wine selection.
