This place has the rudest owners. The owner lady is tolerable rude but the daughter (younger female) is a total snot. They act as if your presence is bothering them. Theres always someone in there talking to one of the workers like full blown catching up and they dont bother to pause their conversation to be hospitable. My husband wont go there at all because he thinks they are rude, I always kinda ignored it but now that Ive noticed hes right. People seem to like the tamales Ive never had them. The cakes are not good at all! They have a poor selection and wont work with you to create a cake you may like.

Where else can you buy tamales at 5:30 in the morning? Seriously!! Cash only but worth it! People usually wait for them to open and my coworkers wait for me to bring in the tamales. I love the cookies here as well - they crumble in your mouth.

Great place! I discovered it 12 years ago and returned 3 years ago. Love the tamales but the real treat is the champurado. Have never found anything like it in NY.

5 stars for the chicken tamales, 3 stars for the pork tamales. But even at 3 stars the pork tamales are much better than you can purchase anywhere else.
