My husband and I enjoyed a great weekend antique shopping in LA this past weekend. We were so hungry for lunch before we jumped on our flight home. We were told to try Blue Frog for the freshest and healthiest sandwiches and salads. When we got there we were were greeted with a warm smile from the owner. My husband and I both enjoyed an amazing and fresh sandwich. They were huge. What we loved is you had a choice of fruit, vegetables, or potato salad on the side. Did I mention the bread for the sandwiches is made by the owner? The bread is SO FABULOUS! I ordered a ice tea with extra ice and she brought over to extra cups of ice and the pitcher of ice tea. This couldnt be more perfect for an ice tea snob. Then she brought us over two complimentary cookies. They were amazing. The baked goods are what makes the restaurant. Her husband does all the baking. They were so good home we brought some home on the plane and enjoyed them. They were so delicious. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Very casual enviornment and the BEST and HEALTHY sandwiches and salads. We are going to go back just to eat here. Thanks again for a pleasant and relaxing way to end our vacation to LA. The owners work hard to make this a delicious meal! THANKS. We will be back soon.

We ordered french toast, the messy pig frog, and a couple of cappuccinos. The food is good, but average, not terrible but nothing special either. The cappuccinos, however, were actually lattes (waaay too much milk), so definitely go somewhere else if you want a real cappuccino. The size they give you is triple the size a cappuccino should be and from the way the foam was it is obvious they dont use whole milk, although they probably would if you ask for it. And they sprinkle cinnamon on it instead of cocoa. The staff and even the other local customers are very friendly, though. Its nice to go somewhere with a friendly neighborhood feel to it.

We stopped by this past week end for breakfast. I had the Machaca and Justin ordered the Waffle with Fruit. Justin said the waffle was nice, but if he had to do it over again, hed get the whipped cream on the side. I really liked the Machaca but thought the salsa could have been a little spicier. The restaurant is small and fairly busy but not so much so that it is off-putting. I liked that you order at the counter before selecting your table. Service was quick and polite, and I am quite curious about their pastries... Next time, my friends.

Yesterday my friend and I had lunch at the Blue Frog. We sat outside, and I noticed that the front of the bakery needed to be cleaned, and or painted. It looked dirty around the ground area. We were never offered more water or iced tea until we were finished with our meals, as no one came around to check on us. My soup was lukewarm. but the sandwich was excellent. I used to love this little gem. Those in charge should tke a good look at the outside of their business, and also train their staff in customer serivce.

I have been going to Blue Frog since the first day they opened. The sandwiches, breakfasts, pastries and salads are delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Owners, Mike, Jill, Danny, are the best! They care about their customers and go out of their way to prepare special cakes, orders, etc. Cashier Amanda is always on-hand to assist and ring up your order. I love this restaurant and recommend it to everyone. I give it 100 star rating!!!! Becky

This place is a nice family owned cafe with a comfortable vibe. It has great pastries coffee. If you every have the chance you should order their chai tea, it is hands down the best Ive had absolutely heavenly. Somehow i always feel like im getting more than what I paid for. I go to school in the area and I cannot reccomend this place enough.

Very comfortable setting. The food is delicious and very affordable. The staff is always friendly and (at least during the week) the food comes out within 5 minutes. Hard workers here. Totally recommended. One warning: restroom is upstairs and the toilet is very small. Not ideal for someone on a wheelchair, etc if that is a concern.

I stop by from time to time because the food is AWESOME! Love their sandwiches and lets not forget the potato-mac salad! YUM!!! Meatloaf sandwich is good! But I wish the customer service was a little better. I sat there with an empty glass and they never came to refill or even asked if I wanted it refilled.

Cozy and friendly, we came a year ago when we were in the area. When I told my kids we were going to try and go again, they were dressed and ready to go in a heartbeat! Weve had delicious breakfasts both times (french toast, eggs and muffin, croissants), and the desserts do not disappoint!

House made pastry, cakes, and bread. The best bear claw Ive ever eaten was here at the Blue Frog. Yummy breakfast. Dont wait in line for breakfast down the street. The staff is kind and attentive too. This has become my favorite place to meet friends for coffee.

Ive come to Blue Frog a few times now for their desserts and Ive been happy every time. My favorites are their large cookies and the coconut cake. One of these days Ill come by for a sandwich, but till then Ill continue getting baked goods.

My new favorite breakfast place in Orange. Got there early to sit outside (small area) and enjoyed a wonderful meal with my sister and good friend. Did have to have a Bear Claw & Everything cookie to share with my co-workers.
