OMG! If you like empanadas or just curious about them, you have to come and try the Saltenas here. I am Bolivian and this place has the best Bolivian empanadas (Saltenas). I have family that when they visit us from different parts of the country will eat here and also take dozens home with them. They also have wonderful Sandwich de Chola (salted pork sandwich) and you can wash all that down with an Inca Cola. Sweet Bolivian/Mexican bread can also be purchased here. Note: This place is cash only but there is a liquor store in the same small shopping center with an ATM.

Antes me gustaba como atendia el dueño que enpaz descance siempre muy amable el señor!!! Pero ahora lo que es el señor que atiende en la tarde y la señora de la mañana dan muy mal servicio siempre que se me antoja una salteña voy y me dices que ya las tienen vendidas o que las estan apartando para sus clientes que les van a comprar en hora del almuerzo y que nome las pueden vender que me espere hasta que hagan mas...la rancherita ya no es igual sin el dueño...

Please stop trying to healthy up my treats by putting raisins on the sweet bread. Other than that the sweet mexican bread is just delicious! I highly recommend trying the teleras stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños, theyre only a dollar. I could eat those all day! =9 *Teleras are a different type of bolillos but softer and a little sweet. They are used for making tortas/mexican sandwiches.

Ordered a cake for my daughter a day in advance. Showed up at the time they said it would be ready. Had to wait half an hour, they apologized, I said no worries, take ur time because I dont want them to rush it. Big mistake. Everything was fine except the bread. Super hard! Enough to nail pictures on wall, no joke!

Amazing place! Came in today, Im a tourist with salteñas craving lol and i came in at 7:10 am. The owner told me that it was not going to be ready until 8am but he made some for me before 8am Best salteñas ever. And Best customer service !!! Love this place. Very affordable too.
