Best Chinese restaurant in the City of Oakland. I love Chinese food & find this place to be the far best. Back in the late 70s I used to go to Hunans on Franklin & it was the best but they went out of business. Theres another Chinese restaurant establishment there but theres no comparison to Hunans or Fortune. But Fortune food is excellent & very moderatly price.

Food is above average, but cleanliness is not their strong points. The restroom here is downright scary as its a building public restroom, not a restaurant one. You have to walk out the back along a hallway before you see a graffiti filled door. Inside was worse. The food variety is plenty and you can say the chef here are a jack of all trade but a master of none.

My mom insisted on getting me a whole deboned deep fried chicken filled with sticky rice for my birthday last year. Yup, thats a thing, and it was delicious. The other dishes were good, too, but that was the most-anticipated dish. Must call and order that one in advance.

Very good HK style cafe dishes. Lunch specials 7 days a week what a deal. Very good must come. The dishes are very good. Pan fried dumplings stay away maybe good in soup. Give the specialsbabtry wont be disappointed.
