Unpretentious Northern Chinese food. Very tasty, if you like spicy food this is the place for you, though they are happy to cater to a milder palate. The vegetables are always cooked perfectly, the proteins are well butchered and prepared. They will replace any protein with tofu, excellent place for me and my vegetarian boyfriend!

Dalian as a coastal city in Northeastern China doesnt have many distinctions, they tried to broad their menu by representing the whole northeastern region but did not succeed. The outcomings are just salty and greasy Cantonese dishes with somewhat northern twists imitation, which I and my guest didnt enjoy so much.

Da Lian had some legit asian food, Ill give them that. My server was pretty poor, and she was pushy in getting my table to order. She oversold us on the portions, and while the meal was pretty decent, it wasnt spectacular. Id probably pass on this place again if given the option.

Went for the first time this weekend and loved it! The waiter was so friendly and informative. He helped us select most of our dishes and we enjoyed every thing we tried. French style beef and the Lemon Chicken were my favorites. We will be back!

I had several good meals there and then had a take-out that was inedible, as the shrimp tasted like they had been left on their counter top for the past week. I am surprised that the small amount I ate didnt make me sick. I will not go back.

Id recommend any of their noodle soups (Lamb and Picked Cabbage Noodle Soup, Spicy Pork Noodle Soup, Spiced Pork Brisket Noodle Soup) or their Garlic Noodles with Pork Brisket. Garlic Noodles with Pork Brisket is my go-to.

The food here is off the chain and the wait staff is super nice. Id recommend the green beans, the garlic and pork brisket noodles, and I will drive there specifically for their salt and pepper prawns.

the noodles were good but the broth tasted oily and kind of strange. the brisket was a weird consistency. got food poisoning that night and all next day. unfortunately i will not be returning

Not-for-Chinese Chinese food, doesnt matter what you order cause they all taste the same. And even its empty, it takes around 20 min to order and 20 min to check.
