I am always surprised at how people give 5 stars. NOTHING in Novato so far deserves 5 stars for Chinese food - lets be serious here people. I found the food "average" at best, the chow mein had a decent flavor, especially over 4 other places I have tried in Novato. For the food "average", for cleanliness and service "below average". I was concerned about the dirty conditions I could see from the front room, the service was "poor". I actually saw customers "waved" on to "you go pick anywhere" in the other room when the waiter was doing nothing but reading a newspaper. I saw another employee come into the dining room with Chinese soup she purchased at a supermarket. I also saw two customers who had mix ups with their orders, and there was only three tables seated. Overall I would give it 3 stars, and that is being GENEROUS. Definitely need to improve on service, and CLEAN that place.

I really like the food at this Chinese. Everything is always fresh and tastes great. My folks are from NYC and thought the food was terrific! My favorites include the Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Cashew Chicken and they make two versions of string beans that are out of this world. The prices are great. If you get there for lunch, you get soup, entree, rice, and a side (usually an egg roll) for under $6. And they have a great green tea ice cream if you stay that long. The only draw back is the restaurant itself. Not the nicest decor and the bathroom is a little shady. But if you dont mind, its a great place to dine. Also try picking up!

The food here is good. It has new owners as of this year (2016). Ive enjoyed most things Ive tried and so far my favorite dish is the Generals Chicken. The crab rangoon had too many onions for my taste, but my wife enjoyed them. The fried rice is better now and most ingredients in other dishes have seemed to be fresher under the new management. I prefer this chinese restaurant over others in Novato. Checkout the back center of the to go menu for take out coupons!

The food is definitely the best Chinese in Novato. You wont be getting greasy, microwaved stuff here! The mens bathroom is definitely sketchy (from what my friend told me), but the food is worth it. Service here is very casual (its a mom and pop place), but I wouldnt call it rude.

The food was very substandard in my honest opinion, and I also questioned the cleanliness of the restaurant from the sticky chairs and dirty floors. Service was awkward at best, and the food was a 2/10.

Great restaurant! Great prices and large portions! This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is delicious! Also, the staffs are very friendly.
