I came here with my girlfriend for dinner. While the food was good, the service was TERRIBLE!! We did not have anyone check in on us or refill our water during our dinner, we had to call over a different server to get us refills. It wasnt busy so I dont understand why our server couldnt check in us. We also had to waive down a different server to get our check, as our server was chatting with her co-workers near the back. The couple next to us got there after us was able to receive their check before us, when we were done before them!! This was our first time there, I must say that I was very displeased with the service. I usually just pay my bill and never come back to a place like this. However, this time I had to say something. The manager was kind enough to give us a discount on our bill and that was much appreciated. I doubt that I will return to this establishment. I will begin my search for Italian food elsewhere

Stale stinky air when you walk in and I was first customer at 11:30am on a Thursday. Weather was nice outside. no reason not to open the doors. and no reason air should smell. Should be either zero smell or fresh delicious odors. Open the doors!!! All the workers acting rushy, not calm when there were no customers. and all speaking Spanish. Unrelaxing sound. But... After eating i give it rave reviews... Only $10.50 for Caesar salad and spaghetti/ meatballs, both delicious and immediately brought to table at same time. Love that. Nice clean looking decor. Forks too big to eat with. Return visit: Food lacks flavor and is too expensive. "Warm" brownie dessert not warm! Air too cold. Minestrone flavorless, no pasta. Male waiter had fowl odor every time he came by my table... Like thrift store clothing smell and worse. Very unappetizing

Tomatina is a nice restaurant with a really nice environment and the food is fresh, the service is nice. I go to this restaurant very often and everything is clean and organized. Try the monthly specials if you are into new stuff, they are really good and delicious. This restaurant takes time to make the food because everything is fresh so if you are in a rush dont get mad if you dont get your food fast, this is not a fast food restaurant therefore Tomatina is a nice place where you can spend some time with your family and friends.

You have to look for this place Northgate Mall - it is back near the Kohls. All the other places here are fast foodish, so it nice to find a sit down Italian place with great food, beer and wine. Try the piadines, salads rolled in a fresh from the oven flatbread. The best tiramisu in Marin!

The food was pretty good but didnt notice something to after i ate . Cooks are not using gloves and touching all over your food. Because of this will not eat there again til this changes.

The food is good but the service is lacking. My family used to go here often but after a while the lack of service was not worth the frustration.

Order salmon insalate. The fennel and pickled onions gave it an extra edge. I dont think the salmon was the freshets though. Still a good salad.
