Used to love this place. They have a secret menu... ask the staff about it. Last I checked they had buy 1 get one free papa burgers on Tuesday. They also have a Cheddar Melt its a single or double patty burger with onion rings and cheddar cheese sauce (like velveta). My only real complaint is the price, this place is quite expensive... for example a soft serve here is 2.49 where mcd across the street is about $1. They have a veggie burger combo special for $8 on Fridays thats a deal?. The cheddar melts used to be $1.99 now they are nearing $5 thats more than double the price in 8 or so years. Its getting near to dine in prices.

I got there right before closing, id been towing all day and was totally starving, My truck and trailer are way to big and long for any drive through, but the woman who took my order was very ok with me walking to the window(after i backed my mile long 27ton truck out the drive thru.) Where im from- window walk ups are unheard of. My burger & float were so delicious, had another 2 hours of driving ahead & the food was emergency energy greatly appreciated at 5min till closing. Thank u corte madera a&w. :)

This A&W is a hit-or-miss experience. For cheesburgers, fries, and chili dogs, youre better off going elsewhere (burgers often have a hint of heatlamp or microwave, and dogs are often comparable but slightly inferior to similar offerings from 7-11), but those probably arent what youre after at A&W. Here, one really comes for the root beer floats, chili cheese fries, and cheese curds. For these A&W specialty items, theres really no other choice. Mmm... fried, artery clogging goodness...

Stopped here on our way from San Francisco to Lassen National Forrest to grab something on the go. The store opens at 10am, we arrived just before 11am and ordered a burger, but had to wait for "the meat to thaw" before they could make it. Which begs the question why it wasnt thawed already. Nothing horrible, just be aware that if youre on the go and you go here early you might want to expect things wont be ready.

Their newer employees are really nice. Food is typical fast food affair, but their newer employees are very nice and friendly to y little girl. We come for the soft serve and cheese curds, but always slip in a root beer or two and sometimes some chili fries too.

Love this place! Been here forever and always a nice stop on your way back from the Russian River. You know what youre getting here. Ice cold root beer floats always hit the spot and this A&W definitely has a retro vibe. If you want root beer, come here.

They have daily specials, they make their root beer fresh daily! Its fast food just a little slower. If you eat in the restaurant they even serve your root beer in a frozen glass mug!! Old school!!

Havent been to an A&W since my youth. Food was good, fast, reasonably priced, root beer just like I remembered, in a classic frosty glass mug. Easily accessible from the highway too.
