I will NOT go here again. Ever. Why? The food tastes good. However, the owner, cook & waiter all in one person (the only worker there) is rude! No manners of politeness, acts like hes doing you a huge favor by selling you his food/services. I asked him for a to-go box and he gave me a box DIRTY from the inside! On my request to give me another, clean, box, he angrily stated, "Come on, man, Im cutting my ribs here!" I have never been treated this way in a restaurant in the US! A word about decor & cleanliness. The "vintage" look is cheap & shabby, the restaurant looks filthy, and the owner-cook-waiters face is uninvitingly covered with sweat droplets - which is a big repelling factor to bon appetit. The price is not cheap, id say average, but for the kind of service you get here, you could well spend the same amount of money on a local restaurant where youd be treated as a welcomed guest (and be warned about the extra fee for using debit).

I had barbe que in many places all over state,and I can say for fact this was the best barbe que i have ever had. their meat are cooked in the state of art rotesery somker and meat fall off the bone.the sauce i can say is the best i have ever had no wonder sacrament bee newspaper rated four star on every catagory ( meat, ambiance,sauce,and overall )in sacramento county.I stongly recomend eveyone to try this wonderfull retaurant.

The best bar b que EVER! My family has been coming here for years (over 20 years). there no place that can beat their mouth watering pulled bar b que beef sandwhich! OMG! just to die for! ive taken many friends here and they still bug me to go again and again. this bar b que is addicting! And my family is from texas where the meanest bar b que is made and this hole in the wall makes the top of the list!!!!

If ZERO stars was an option, that would be my score for this hellish place. The owner was a complete jerk, when calling in to see if they had received our online order we were yelled at "why would you use online when you could call me, idiots." We will never eat or patronize this terrible establishment, nor recommend it to anyone.

The food is great, tho the garlic mashed potatoes taste like broccoli not garlic. But the guy who runs it can ruine your appetite before the first bite. Hes cold rude and theatrically mean. When the jerk mistakes your order and he has to change it he makes a show of banging on the register keys in a huff.

Wanted to try something new and decided to come here to try it out. It was delicious! The price was fair, Id choose this place over any other place that serves bbq. Outback ribs got nothing on pit stop bbq. The decor was vintage, and attractive. Ask i have to say is, THIS PLACE IS IRRESISTIBLE!

Im pretty sure this place is the biggest reason I became a vegetarian. Ive never walked out of a restaurant without finishing my food, it was inedible. Gave up on meat forever, true story. Worst food youll ever wait 40 minutes for.

Iv seen it lots of times passing by and finally decided to stop. The ribs are the AMAZING ! ! ! The corn bread is delicious and moist. The beans are excellent. Will be defiantly going back again.
