HI A very nice place , a stop is almost necessary for all travelers. Bikers, drivers , truck drivers, cyclists , fishermen, hunters which may be the last pioneer in search of freedom . Stop , thou traveler and take the time to have a drink and take your time to dream Turtle Bar - capell valley road - Berryessa knoxville road - California - USA IF you think you lost , not afraid ... two choice : 1- take the road to the left and come on the road to Napa Valley in St. Helena , CA . 2 - take the road by doite .. then you arrive after a few turns , a few odds and some descents POP Valley. wow .. extraordaire ... also ... the top . and If you want continuous still and come to the best fountain that exists on earth .. St Helena ! Here more than thirst problem .... the corner of each house there ay numerous fountains where the worlds best wine flowing .... one life is not enough to to do the trick. - Jean- Louis M. - April 9, 2014

Living up in Lake Berryessa we all seem to have one thought in common, "buy your supplies IN TOWN!!" however, when we run out of stuff like milk, cheese, lunch, cigarettes, knowing Turtle Rock is right there to save the day, if Im wiling to pay. Some inventory is fairly priced, but $10.00 for 1 PACK OF CIGS, omg. $4.75 for a sad premaid ham or turkey sandwich that literally comes with nothing but a single slice of lunch meat An a single slice of cheese spread out over an over moisturized 6" sour dough bun. Want tomatoes? A dollar extra per side add on

I had an experience here over the summer. I came in on crutches paid the lady for ice. I asked the lady if it was OK that I moved my car closer to load up as it was difficult on crutches. I finished loading up and started to drive off as one of the employees rudely hit my window, then asked "are you going to pay for that?" I said I did "I paid the lady" he makes me get all the way out of my car before realizing Im on crutches and remembers me. And says "your ok" no sorry or anything... will not do business again.

I have been living up at Lake Berryessa for over 20 years. And Turtle Rock has always been consistent with their hours, food, Drinks Grocerys camping supplies and world class Egg Rolls; Pet has a Pancake Breakfast with Vacaville Harley every other Sunday. He also has some great Holiday, football, baseball special events and parties; I would like to thank Pete, Maxine, Larry and Joanne, for always doing a great job. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Its always been a destation to go to on the Motorcycles. YES, the egg rolls are the BOMB! I have met people from around our world, there. Motorcycle enthusiasts of all kinds. The ride there, from Napa, Winters, Fairfield, Vacaville. It doesnt matter which road you travel. The views are beautiful and worth the ride.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Wonderful Egg Rolls... When you stop you MUST get an least an Egg Roll. A nice place to get those items you forgot to get before you left for the lake. AKA... Not just a bar...

I have been coming here since the 80s and it is one of my favorite places to go. The egg rolls are the best Ive ever had. Big Peter and his traditions are still alive and well.

Good place to stop for last minute drinks and even some of the famous egg roles, conveniently located just before you head to the lake and the middle of nowhere

A must stop at bar when riding thru berryessa. Rachel is a great bartender. The egg rolls are world famous but trust me when i say this, they are disgusting

Awesome motorcycle destination. Good food at decent prices. No brew on tap, which is disappointing. But quite a few typical bottled beers.
