My Husband and our Granddaughter have been coming to Biscuits Café here in Gresham as long as it has been here. It was one of our favorite places to eat. During the years we have had some slow service ,some cold food and had to wait to get seated but we always took that into concideration that it was busy , the food was always good ,so we never said a word. But on December 21, 2014 we were seated right away as it wasnt busy. the people next to us were ordering , we waited about 15 minutes and finally asked to get a waitress to come to our table, she did and said she didnt know what the mix up was. We then ordered and we waited, and waited the people next to us had gotten their food and EATEN it , people who had been sat after us were served their food, we asked our waitress " When is our food coming up?" she replied "Its up next" we waited for an additional 15 minutes while watching other people get their food and we got up to leave and my husband paid for a coffee and a diet coke, ( yes they actually let us pay for the drinks) I went up to the front of the kitchen and told our waitress that we were leaving and she said........YOUR order is up NEXT. Well I watched as the next order was put up and guess what? IT WASN"T OURS............so we left and dont have any plans on going back. I think if we had gotten an apology and not paid for our drinks it would have been a different matter. Linda Shaull Gresham Oregon

Biscuits blows! I have went there a handful of times and every single time something is messed up or horrible service..... I ordered a omelet Sunday morning.... The cook used a slice of cheese instead of traditional grated cheese... Which seemed a bit lazy to me, and another slice inside....this is after watching 5 servers wonder around the restaurant doing basically nothing while weve beem at the table for almost 30 mins waiting to order.... Anyway...... I ask the server for some shredded cheese and she looks and me funny and says "I guess". I watch her walk to the kitchen and ask the cook for it... I see the cook get a angry look on her face and start raising her voice while slamming around grabbing the dish and cheese... The potatoes are always soaked in butter, to the point of being sick. My hash browns were burnt on the outside and completely soaked in butter on the inside. There portions are extremely small, we watched people order and receive there food who came in 20 minutes after us.... We decided that it would be the last time we would give this place a chance. Over and over again nothing changed for the better,no thanks biscuits you have lost a customer for life.

We having been going here for years and food has been great up until they obviously changed hands of management or owner. I was told this by a server as they had same concerns as mine. For example the gravy was cut in half, the pancake batter that used to be fluffy and light are now terrible as you need a knife to cut it now. I realized krusteau bag now on display, are you serious people. Even the fruit that is in season still appears out of the freezer bag. Lastly, my kids dont even eat their meals completely. So sad, we will try other locations from now on as this used to be our local favorite but new people running place turned it into a Dennys cheap meal at same premium cost it was before the revamp to make more money for the owner rather than a quality meal for its customers.

The wait was ridiculous for eggs and pancakes, especially if you try going in with your toddler.. not one time did the waitress or manager address the issue of them being behind on all orders..waited 45 minutes and not one time did the waitress come out with news as far as how long our order was taking. Turns out they were all training a cook in the back, on a Sunday? When they know they are busy? Sticking to Elmers now; manager always goes around to ask how eveyone is doing and if anything is wrong. Never coming back again. Waste of time.

Tucked in a busy strip mall, on a busy intersection is Biscuits Cafe. You have to try this place. Serving only breakfast and lunch, there is generally a short wait to get seated but once you are seated, heaven awaits. This is a hole cooking restaurant with servings that guarantees you should not go home hungry. In fact, we ended up taking almost half of our breakfast home with us to finish later Biscuits is one place that was highly recommended to us and we are passing that recommendation on to anyone reading this. You wont be sorry.

Typically a long wait for your food due to the popularity of this restaurant. The food can be good or OK, depending on the cook which I think changes frequently. I say this because my dishes are very inconsistent. My last experience was a meat lovers omelette or the egg was cooked, but all the inside ingredients were cold as if they were thrown in at the last second after sitting on the counter for who knows how long.my advice would be: do not go there when they are busy, Ill try to find out if the chef is new.

At around 1 it wasnt very busy however after getting coffee i didnt get any refils until my food showed up 25 min or so later. I ordered the Joes scrambled. It was mostly eggs that were cooked to the consistency of less hard rubber and the few potatoes were undercooked and slightly cold. Ontop of that there was something brown i thought was a big piece of bacon, it was not. Regardless i gave it back and left. Still kicking myself that i didt ask for manager. But i just left in disgust.

Had chicken fried steak breakfast and the Keep It Simple breakfast. Service was quick. Gravy was tasty and sweet potato pancake was good. Steak was great - not the sinewy variety Ive had at other places - you know exactly what I mean! Good selection of bottled hot sauces. Had strawberry jam with my toast - I think they made it!. Nice open seating and clean shop. Dont where the people with negative comments were visiting. Came in after 9am on a Friday - no issues here.

I have been going here ever since I moved to Gresham. You used to get pretty good food and you mostly had a good waitresses. Yesterday changed everything the service sucked. The food tasted terrible. It was greasy tasted awful just basically gross. They would not rectify this. We ended up paying $20 for Garbage. It was not fit even for annimal consumption. The cashier acted like they did not care about Our Experience either. So I will NEVER go back.

Excellent service: was treated, seated and coffee served quickly (great for the am hours,) after looking the menu over and placing it down I had my waiter over shortly to take the order. Food was hot, and arrived shortly. The Greek omelette, side of biscuits and gravy (couldnt resist, the diet can wait till the new year,) left me geared for the day. Overall excellent experience.
