My sister, grandson and I stopped in to have dinner for the first time in this restaurant. They seemed to be busy so we thought we would give it a try. We sat down and waited to be served. A young man, who worked there, approached us to tell us that they had no food. Not just no pizza, nothing. There were other things on the menu, but THEY WERE OUT OF EVERYTHING! Seeing everyone else in there eating.....and Caucasian I began to think it was racial as we are Japanese. Well he said they had another location in the bowling alley in Simi Valley and that he would call them to give us a discount. We did go there, but I guess he forgot that the restaurant in that location was closed. We went somewhere else but in this day and age I was caught off guard by that type of behavior. But I guess that the extremely large American flag in the front of their restaurant doesnt necessarily mean ALL AMERICANS welcome! My sister is 71 and born in this country, I am 64 and born in this country, and my grandson is 13 and born in this country. You try and explain this to a 13 year old. Racism? What is that?!,, I would give the a negative star rating but there wasnt one available.

Worst costumer service ever and Worst place ever! I came here Monday night just to celebrate my Hubbys Birthday and the people who manage this place dont seem to care about how they treat their customers. We walked in and instead of being greeted they tell us theyre closing "ok", then we put our order in and receive our pizza 40mins later not to mention they were not busy at the time, 10 mins into our dinner the waiter turns of the light and quickly turns it back on and says he didnt notice we were there. I mean a simple Im sorry we need to close all ready would be nice. So we ended up standing up to leave the waiter says Goodbye and my husband tells him thank you have a nice night! Which we thought while leaving at least they said goodbye, but the Moran of a waiter quickly responds to us and says "I wasnt talking to you guys, I was talking to the coworkers but you guys have a nice night too" like really! The stupid ass should of just left it at Goodbye! In my opinion dont waste your Time the pizza was not even great ,I dont understand why this place is a 4.5 rating. I would give it a zero but Google only allows a 1 star and they dont even deserve that!

5 stars for the music, 1 star for the food, so we get 3 stars wings so tangy it was like sucking a lemon, the sauce was thick, just not pleasant, the wings are supposed to be traditional hot its not hard to mess up the pizza, dominos, pizza hut and papa johns is way better. the presentation of the pizza was amazing but when you eat it, what a disappointment. i ordered the bbq chicken, it should have been called the bbq onion. there was double the onion then there was chicken. crust was ok, the sauce was ok. it was a bland bbq chicken pizza. no thrills I was looking forward to great music and amazing pizza, all i got was the amazing music. too bad Im not normlly a review writter but dont expect good food, just expect amazing music!

My favorite place in the world! The food is delicious, it is owner operated, which means everyone on the staff sincerely has an interest in making sure you are served to the best of their abilities. The decor is one of a kind and befitting of the name Rock & Roll Pizza. Also a lot of great bands play. You cant this type of atmosphere anywhere else in the world. Also they have the greatest Open Mic shows on Thursday nights from 7- 9:30 or 10, depending on how many acts perform, in all of CA. A lot of great talent play on that stage, including The Foo Fighters, which you can find video of on YouTube. If you love Rock N Roll, Pizza, & Beer, this is your new favorite place in the world too.

Awesome pizza, but the place is not kid friendly. I havent seen the bands so I cant comment on that. I went to the bar to get a drink and was told by the bartender to get in the "Order here" line which was full of lots of people trying to order pizza. Got to say this is the first bar Ive ever been to you cannot order a beer at. So I left as the pizza was an hour and a half wait and I couldnt get a beer without waiting in line. They did have local enegren beer which is good. Ordered for pickup the next day and got it to go so I could try the pizza everyone said was so good. It did not disappoint. Also beware the hours vary almost everyday so I included a picture.

Red Balls Rock and Roll Pizza has LITERALLY the best pizza Ive ever had in my life. And the atmosphere is excellent. The owners are experienced, relaxed and friendly, and the place looks great. Leopard-print and checkerboard everywhere! Gotta love it. The live music is really really good and sometimes out of control (Foo Fighters anyone???)!! And the regulars and locals are very nice. I highly recommend this place to people in the area as well as anyone looking to drive out to see one of the shows.

I am always looking for good Pizza Places and this one is one of the best. The Pizza here is actually better than in Rome ;). The place is small, but the service is quick and there is always plenty of choices - from Cheese to Veg to Slice of the day. All slices are equally delicious and the portions are huge. Whenever I am on a shopping trip in Haight I make sure I stop there since it is the perfect place for a quick bite.

Extremely ride owners, me and friends all arrived and where meeting in their parking lot with at least fifteen open spaces. After getting out of the car I was immediately accosted by the owners telling me if I dont come inside and order something they would call the cops on is. So naturally we waited till our group of fifteen people arrived and promptly left due to them been so extremely rude. Never again.

I would not say its kid friendly, and I found out when I walked in with my two young boys. Oops, my bad. That being said, the pizza rocks. I read others reviewers say the service being terrible, but I found my experience to be fine. I take the lack of friendly interaction as New York attitude. Its a place to have beer and good pizza with your buds.

Pulled up with a group of friends, planning on going in for a drink, as we were waiting outside the owner comes out and yells at us for taking up his parking if we arent coming in. We promptly decided to just leave after that. The parking lot was empty after we left. The owner is an idiot and doesnt know how to run a business.

Great pizza and great music especially on K tel Fridays always a blast and the reasonably priced alcohol is always plus l. So come on down grab a slice or a whole pie watch Robbie Rist and The Wrong Dots put a searing showcase of 70s music have a drink and enjoy
