The wine caves black, red & white decor has a clean & mod feel. The space is unpretentious and relaxed - just as is owner Scott. Even if this is your first official wine tasting experience, you wont be made to feel less than and can relax and enjoy the ride. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and humble too - which is a wonderful & rare combination in the realm of wine professionals. Scott specializes in value (high quality/low cost) wines from Chile & Argentina, and from the Paso Robles region of California (rather than the better known/pricier wines of Napa, Sonoma or France.) Given that, and his frequent participation in non-profit fundraising events, Scott just seems to be a support & celebrate the underdog kinda guy - oh and value - that he passes on to customers. The quality of a $5 glass at Scotts is something along the lines of an $8 glass elsewhere. . . and who doesnt love a bargain?

This place has a laid-back atmosphere and depth of character in spades. The wines are top notch, excellently researched and well priced. The proprietors are approachable, accommodating and great conversationalists, while a host of regulars is eclectic and welcoming beyond imagination. The focus is genuinely on whats really important and you get an experience well worth the time. Youll be glad you stopped by! (At the time of this review, they maintain a Facebook page which has a calendar of upcoming flights, celebrations, art showings and other events - definitely worth checking out!)

If you dont mind an outstanding Pinot Grigio for $6... If you dont mind eclectic decor that looks like the back lot of a movie studio... If you dont mind a comfortable, come-as-you-are atmosphere.... If you dont mind the smoke in your eyes from the back patio.... If you dont mind a truly generous pour.... You will love chilling in the Wine Cave.

The Wine Cave is unique with a full list of daily tasting selections within gallery-like setting of local, L.A. based artists. The interior is seductive ~ all black & red that lends the impression this spot is not only elegant, but a very comfortable bar to socialize, relax, and truly enjoy delicious wine and company.

Atmosphere is awesome. The owner is super friendly and extremely knowledgable about his wines and takes the time to inform you about the wine that you are drinking. Prices are excellent and value is phenomenal.

This review was only for the chicken torta, which I find somewhat tasty but mushy and underwhelming. Considering the amazing ingredients, this sandwich should be a lot better than it is. Still - not bad.

The Wine Cave has a great selection of wine. The staff is very friendly and will help wine newbies with finding a great wine to join. I highly recommend visiting here even if you are not in the area.

Cool little venue to have a glass of wine and chill listening to live music. Wine prices are a little high, but its all good for the ambiance
