The Nickel is a total home run for the area... Well for many areas to be honest with you it would be. Happy hour is Sunday - Friday from 5 - 8 with $4 drinks!! Cant beat that especially in this area. Crowd is great. Its 5 pm now on a Tuesday and people are already flowing through the doors. Its even raining outside and we know how people in LA dont leave their house in the rain. They have games (darts, jenga, connect 4,etc). Free WiFi. There is a jazz night every Tuesday starting at 8. Main food is pizza (very good). They also have a great beer / wine / liquor selection. I met the manager Rami who is a great guy that made sure my entire group was taken care of. When a place has every sport on the TVs, this is a MAJOR plus. We will definitely be back.

I have made two trips down from the Bay Aria and stopped here each time. The service is the best I have ever seen. The bar tenders are truely funomal. My beer of choice White Knight; witch I recommend the chicken and waffles as a side order to go with it. This is how a Sports Bar should be! Cant wait to get back here for the NFL season.

The neighborhood needs a sports bar. Nickel Bar fills that need. I feel like I like the bar much more than the crowd. Its like it almost needs a place to open up next door so half the bros can go there and the place wont alway be pack full of people in button up jeans and loafers

The staff is great, the pizza is really to die for (the reviews dont lie), and the cocktails are really good. They have a generous happy hour from 5 to 8pm. I celebrated my birthday here and they gave me some free shots so they have my heart now. Love this place.

I ordered the whiskey fight and 2 snacks (The spinach and cheese dip and the lemon garlic wings). Both were good and the people were nice and friendly. They have Jenga at all the tables in case you want to play while drinking.

As the first time going there and first time bar experience I enjoyed it the only problems I have is no so comfortable seats and needs more cocktail options. Overall its a great bar and would recommend it to anyone.

This bar is awesome! Great atmosphere. From the board games on each table, to the wide selection of beers and cocktails to the hidden room in the library - Im definitely a fan of Nickel Bar!

Good airy sports bar with ... got to be a dozen monitors showing the current games and a good craft beer selection. Can get raucous on weekend nights.
