Im from Australia, and I asked my friend who lives in LA for a place to kick it, where there was food, good atmosphere, great music. He brought me to this place. I must say, this place may not be for everyone, though it was my kind of spot. The food was great, we had a waitress who was waiting on us hand and foot, she was wonderful, had the best recommendations for cocktails and was just overall lovely person. The people in the bar were so friendly, even the manager on the night whos name was Jose was absolutely welcoming!! So from the land down under I salute you all..and I will definitely be coming back to you guys for that shrimp again :) Thank you kindly for your hospitality and kindness!

This bar is in the middle of a neighborhood. They are no nonsense when its time to go and the police presence is always there. The food: Its a little pricey but truly excellent and a big portion. Fried fish, Chicken, and shrimp are my absolute favorites. (Funny I dont know what else is on the menu ha ha) The drinks: You will need to drink less than at another bars because the drinks are potent. The service: The service is excellent. Very attentive even on a busy night. Atmosphere: Its normally a crowd of 40 and up but you will find a few younger people there for the fun. This is not a place where you have to dress up fancy. Just come out have good drinks, food and fun.

I love The Cork on Adams. The waitress staff gets a little busy with the constant flow of patrons but with the great music played on the JukeBox and the lively drinks flowing, you dont mind at all. If youre lucky enough to get a table, make sure you partake in the entire menu. From the Red Snapper Nachos to the Red Beans and Rice. The Cork is fun, the food is excellent and the drinks are BOMBdiggity, No Doubt !!! Ill see you there.

Heard about this place from a friend decided to try it out. Brought the wrong food AND a couple days later we were charged for our meal and 20 bucks someone elses (or staff treated themselves). Called for refund for the error got the run around. Never got a refund. This place is horrible and a rip off.
