The customer service at this place SUCKS! My son and I went there for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We were sitted right away. The restaurant was not busy. Someone came by as soon as we sat down and asked if we wanted tea and then brought a kettle and left. We waited and waited...and waited. No one came back with water or to take our order. We were in the middle of the restaurant, clearly waiting. Nothing. After watching waiters walk by over and over again without stopping at our table, I waved someone down. He walked over and I asked him if there was anyone serving this area. He said yes and starting looking around. I told him we were ready to order, 10 minutes ago. He said, ok, then hell take our order. I placed my order and then food came out. Still no water. We waited and waited...and waited. No one stopped by again, once the food was dropped off. My son kept on asking me for water. I again waved another person down to ask for water. He asked me, How many would you like? I said, "Hmmm...well, theres two of us eating, so how about 2?" Omg!!! After he brought the water, I again, waved another person down, because he left so quickly, to get boxes for my food. I wasnt done eating. I was so annoyed, i just wanted to get out of there!!! This is the first time I didnt leave a tip. I always do, even when Ive received bad services, BUT NO MORE!!! I WILL NOT LEAVE A TIP IF SERVICE SUCKS!!! No more feeling obligated to tip! Provide good service to your customers if you want to receive a tip!!!

Very short-sighted management. I ordered a dish of crispy-skinned pork at dim sum today and after biting into one, realized the entire dish (which was pretty small to begin with) was fat covered with crispy skin. I talked to the manager about either getting a replacement or returning it. He said the policy was if you touched more than a couple of pieces, they cannot take it back (which begs the question, if you only touched a couple of pieces, they would recycle the rest - not a pleasant thought is it?). My beef is this - if a customer felt strongly enough that she/he was asking the management to do something about it, they should make it right. But they didnt care. They would rather lose a customer than to "lose" money on the dim sum dish. No-one should patronize such a smug establishment. There are other, better choices out there.

Price is middle of the line. Got here at 1220p and there were a total of 3 carts serving the entire floor. Half the time, the server pushing the cart are standing around or just covering the least distance. Feel like Im playing hide-n-seek with them just to order food. Asked for Chinese sriracha and was told we cant help you by the captain!!! What kind of Chinese restaurant in CA dont have sriracha or even just regular chilli paste?! Bill came to $50 for 6 dishes and $4.5 for tea for 3 people. No impressed at all! Will not repeat. Mayflower Lounge uses to be a lot better. There are other competitors with much better quality of food and most of all service. This is likely the reason why their chain has been closing down one after another.

Surprisingly easy to get a table on a busy weekend. Dim sum was piping hot and fresh. they have good variety in addition to the regular favorites. You can order some of the special side dishes but expect to pay "special" prices too. Staff here are plentiful and you can easily wave down someone to refill your teapot. One typical problem with these places (and with all Ive been to) is they keep adding more water to the teapot, yet they should give fresh tea leaves when they notice the tea color getting lighter. When asked they hesitated and say they typically charge tea per person. Come on.. tea cant be THAT expensive

Passable food was outweighed by very slow and downright rude service. Took 40 minutes to order and only then because we had to ask to place order. Order was taken by waiter who acted like hed rather doing anything else but. Most requests (for silverware, serving utensils, Coke refills, etc.) had to be repeated several times. They added tip for group of 7 which we refused to pay. There are many good Chinese restaurants in this area. This is not one of them and should be avoided if you wish to avoid rude, impatient, indifferent and downright insolent service staff.

Havent been here for quite a few years because the dim sum was not great. Decided to have moms birthday dinner here (heard it was better than dim sum). Ordered a variety of fresh seafood and chicken. Did not like the chicken, but the seafood was pretty good. The fish and geoducks were delicious. The lobster, though fresh, did not look like it was a full 2 pounds. Prices were high for the fresh seafood. Overall, it has good and not so good dishes and the service was acceptable.

The food here is good, and the wait time was surprisingly short. The biggest plus of this restaurant would be the availability of different foods on the carts regardless of where you sit. Often times, weve encountered a dim sum restaurant with too little staff serving too many people. Only issue we had was that at the time we went (12ish pm) there werent many pastries, but thats okay.

Mayflower is a staple of Milpitas Square, having been located there for over a decade. Any Chinese restaurant to have lasted that long in such a competitive area must be doing something right! If you come here, you can expect good-quality, traditional Chinese food. Unfortunately, there are long lines if you come during the weekends. Dim sum is good (not great) quality.

Must be the worst food I have ever had. Also, they seem very disrespectful towards people outside of their race. Dont bother with this place. This place has the most rude and racist workers. Very disrespectful. Dont attempt to order any traditional Chinese food plates here. Panda Express is 100x better and I do the think their food is good either.

Food was ok but service was terrible! The new plates, chopsticks, and cups ALL had left over food unwashed. SO DIRTY! When we asked for spoons the server brushed us off and said ask your waiter. We paid with a credit card and our waiter opened the signing book at our table while we were still eating and told us to change his tip. We changed it to zero.

Im not Chinese and cant tell how authentic this restaurant is. But vibe and decor look as such. Looking at the patrons happy faces seems like this place serves very good food. Unfortunately, theres practically no vegetarian options and almost every dish has pork and shrimp. I ended up eating dessert for my lunch.

I went to the one on Barber Lane close to Ranch 99 super market. The service suck every time we want water, tea or napkin you have to get up and ask for the waiter plus couple of time the waiter ignore you. When we received the bill they already add 15 % for the service charge that is not acceptable.

I give this restaurant one star bc I need a star to comment... I would give this place zero star or negative stars if I could. We waited over 45 mins but got nothing on the table. The table next to us ordered the same thing after us and our food was not ready when the table next to us got theirs.
