Entrance is on the el camino real. The parking lot is behind the restaurant. Avg restaurant but very spacious. egg paratha with gravy was feshly made and delicious. Chicken Soup was good but found it very oily. lamb chops are over cooked and hard to eat. When I mentioned this, the waiter understood and refunded the money. Most of the items in the menu have the recipe (meat, eggplant, green beans, curry leaves). Ordered pad thai, which was similar to every other asian restaurant. Nothing great or impressive.

Nice ambience, service and great food. We are fans of banana leaf in milpitas and were glad to hear from owners wife that this their 2nd restaurant. They are hands on and making sure things run smoothly. The front facade need to be improved as it is bit deceiving - please put a nice crafted sign. There arent good Asian restaurants in Menlo Park, very glad to have black pepper in our neighborhood. Vegetarian menu is awesome. Our 3 yr old enjoyed her first roti prata exp

We paid over $80 for four entrees. Upon delivery, we discovered that our two curry dishes didnt come with rice. There was no option to add rice when we made the order. Ive ordered Thai food over 100 times and never had issues with this. I called the restaurant to explain and they could care less. Horrible customer service and extremely overpriced mediocre Thai food.

Delicious. I am always looking for gluten free eats and treats. Black pepper has an extensive gf and vegetarian menu. I ordered the satay combo with coconut rice. The chicken and been skewers were delicious. The peanut sauce was not too sweet. I finished off my meal with mango black sticky rice. Sooooo good. Great service and food.

Happy with the atmosphere, food and service. Parking for lunch is difficult but I heard they have assigned spots which I will look for in the future. I especially enjoyed the Singapore Chicken as it reminded me of Black Pepper Crab (my favorite) at Jumbos in Singapore. I hope to go back during crab season to see what they offer.

Tip: Definitely order the Roti Prata and choose a classic Singaporean dish like Chow Kueh Teow (seafood pan fried noodles) or Chili Crab and save room for the mango sticky black rice. Prices add up but the space is elegant and spacious with high ceiling and the flavors are as good as their sister restaurant Banana Leaf in Milpitas.

Restaurant with lots of potential. Had Pineapple rice: Amazing , but why not in a pineapple? Had the black pepper beef: outstanding, but needs more beef. Had the green curry: okay.. was really really creamy. The restaurant hooked us up with free desert which was really cool. Definitely will be back soon.

This place is new!! Food was extremely flavorful and portions were good. Thanks to the manager for the dessert! Theres a small parking lot behind the building if you cant find parking. will definitely come back!!

The food was good, but not amazing. The roti was great, but all other dishes were what youd expect from an Asian fusion restaurant. I will come back and order something different

Wonderful food. Great service. I loved everything that we shared. It is pretty noisy and hard to hear each other. Other than that, it is one of the best dinners I have had out!

Food was ok, small portions so not great value. The Black Pepper tenderloin had a lot of eggplant not much meat. The fried banana with mango ice cream in fried taro was tasty!
