Its a dance club...I mean a sports bar...I mean a sushi restaurant! Maybe its a bit of all three mixed into a fairly large space that provides you various options of seating styles. There is outside seating with a street view, an actual full bar with leather couches, the standard dining area and accompanying sushi bar, as well as the party and private rooms in the back. For some reason there is a Google quote stating there is an ocean view from Fusion. There is not. A large menu ranges from king sized rolls of various creations to a full kitchen assortment. Rolls tend to be stronger than sashimi, but overall the quality is good. Prepare for sauce! Fusion Sushi at this location tends to go heavy on their sauce. Evenings, especially on weekends, are loud. Music is pumping throughout, and when you walk in to the restaurant you pass through the bar section. Prepare yourself for laser lights (yes, really), big TVs with sports on them, and a gaggle of heavily cologned, well coiffed people. Pass through this and youll get to the restaurant - which is just as loud - but dense with couples on dates, families out for a fairly priced sushi, and even the occasional celeb or sports figure. The wait staff are friendly, the take out is always correct and fresh, and you can get your drink on if you so desire!

I just ate here last night, around 8PM. I woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. Its 2PM now, and I still cant hold anything down - along with stomach cramping. I havent felt cramps like this since the birth of my son 9 years ago..... I do not recommend eating here. The Service wasnt great. Most servers were nice except for Angela. We tried ordering from anyone but her because she was so rude! If I remember your name, thats bad.... I usually ONLY eat Sushi from trusted places, and when my friend suggested this, I figured she knew something I didnt. Needless to say I wont be going back. And one last thing - I just called to report this to the Manager and whoever picked up the phone rudely told me - "Manager on vacation, no manager right now" and hung up on me. I couldnt believe it!

One of the best sushi places Ive ever been to (and Ive been to a lot), and this place is affordable. Their rolls were super fresh, very large (the Godzilla Roll that I ordered was essentially 2-in-1 rolls), and they have a wide selection of interesting menu items (not just your everyday California rolls or spicy tuna rolls, etc. and not just limited to sushi and rolls). Their service is also commendable. The appetizer that I ordered took a while to come out so I cancelled it, but they still gave it to us on the house (which made an already delicious dish taste even better)! I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back.

The zen roll put me in a state of euphoria, were talking complete blissfulness beyond comprehension. Kevin, the manager, took great care in his work and my experience. A perfect habitat for anyone. I see familys, couples, and young professionals all enjoing themselves. The music is unpredictable and lively while the staff is very kind and attentative. This is one of Manhattan beaches hidden emeralds. They have a private room for parties that offers up sake fueled karaoke. A truly unique restaurant experience.

Why is this place highly rated. If you drink a lot, and cant discern between Korean and Japanese sushi perhaps. So, the fish isnt fresh, the kitchen over seasons and overlooks everything. The salad was overdressed and slushy. The rice was overseasoned with vinegar. The service was calculated and cold. But hey it has a full bar, and you can get loud and crrazy with your peeps. Enjoy that 400 bill, and the heartburn.

Plenty of metered parking in underground lot. Staff is welcoming and alway accommodating. Im on a new plant based lifestyle program and they went out of their way to make the dishes I ordered to my specifications. Food was fresh and delicious. It was packed with people and the food arrived quickly. Gave us a beautiful yellowtail collar but I couldnt eat it and we passed it to others to try. It was a great evening.

Sushi was sub par. Service was horrendous. We cleaned out own table. Took 30 minutes just to order food. When we wrote cash for tip waiter complained that we hadnt left it with the bill. Continued to sit around and they never cleaned out table and never continued to provide service. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Told to seat ourselves even there was a sign saying that we had to wait. Sat down for 10 minutes without even someone even giving us a menu. As we walked out, the waitress that had been staring at us the whole time told us "Thank you". No, thank you for wasting our time.

I love this local sushi spot. You can usually walk in without a line if youre willing to sit at the bar. They have a HUGE selection and friendly staff. If youre not into raw or rolls, their traditional entrees (chicken/beef) are abundant.

I went to this place randomly and the sushi I had was incredible. I sat at the bar and ate. It was quick, people were kind, prices were good. The salmon melted in my mouth it was so good. Will surely go back again.

The chefs are excellent, the fish is super fresh, sashimi quality that doesnt smell fishy at all! Its not fine dining, but who cares, its really great food @ reasonable prices!

I go here once a week- the sushi is that good. Very fresh fish and excellent rolls. I highly recommend if you are looking for excellent sushi in a casual beach setting.
